COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Bottiglia. Se non c?è altro da bere...passabile, l?importante è che sia ghiacciata, altrimenti...

Lattina. Schiuma cremosa, amaro percettibile, e leggere anche l’intensità olfattiva e corpo. Corta la persitenza olfattiva. Una decisa frizzantezza accompagna una sufficiente persistenza gustativa.

Not much aroma, slightly malty with some maplelike flavour. Not so great, but ok when you just have arrived in Rome ;)

Unpleasant aroma of boiled/canned corn (DMS) and note of herbs. Light straw, transparent color. Foam subsides quickly and leave no lacing. Taste is better than rest - blend of malt with little herby note. Watery. Bitterness is medium. Phloemy palate which is not to good in taste.

Tasted 13/4/15. Draught at Lanzera, Milano Centrale, Italy. Poured a crystal clear amber with a one- to two-finger frothy white head that retained well and laced well. Carbonation low and fine. Aroma strongly of sweetish malt and a hint of yeast; no obvious hops. taste of sweet caramel with a slight but nice bitterness. Light body. Smooth, dry, with a lingering moderate nice bitterness. Bitterness increases slightly as it warms but best drunk cold. Easy to drink and quite nice.
