2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a pale gold with a macro style head. Nose is corn and almost imperceptible hops. Taste is typical euro macro - meaning it has slightly more hops and less adjuncts than an American macro. Very similar to Heineken. Average.

Very disappointing after their La Rossa. Almost identical in all ways to Peroni. The sole exception to this is the absence of that harsh metallic taste from Peroni, which grants this ’beer’ a higher rating.

Flowery light corn-like aroma. minimal short-lived white head. Very light body, no hops aroma or flavor. Lite bitterness with mildly lingering sourness. Inoffensive and unremarkable lager.

1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
500 ml can bought at 7-Eleven in Metropolis Plaza, Sheung Shui.
Piss pale golden yellow colour; One-quarter finger head and soapy white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Minimal lacing and notable slight carbonation; Quite pungent smell of thin malt, with corn, grains, sugar, faint wet cardboard, and faint lemon / grass; Near zero sweet taste of thin malt, with wet cardboard, strong corn, thin chalk dust, light rubbing alcohol, light lemon and faint grass; Mid to light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is typical macro Pale stuffed with corns, and more corns. Unbalanced and poorly conditioned, cardboard and bad booze abound, through not as bad as San Miguel Pale Pilsen; Hoppiness is faint notes of lemon and grass in nose and taste. Hint of bitterness, rubbing alcohol finish; Slightly dry after taste, slightly burning boozy to mouth.
Comments: Reputed to be THE beer of Italy as to Budweiser in the U.S. and San Miguel in Hong Kong. Well, you get the idea. At least Bud has fewer off taste than this corn-loaded, paint stripper-like drain pours. La Birra in Italia? Oh, pleeease!

Very clear straw color with a white head that lasts just a while. Aroma of something chemical. Watery and tasteless. This beer just increased my stomach acid, I regret of having opened this damn bottle. I just wonder: why producing such a...thing?
