Beer Snob (356), Ontario, Canada Jan 7, 2005 Remembered liking this when I was in Italy... but then again, I was young and in love... with drinking.
Oh, still am.
But why I’d spend premium bucks for a Moretti on top of the price I was paying for dinner is beyond me. Smells like nearly every other macro, tastes watery, made me gasseous (or was it the food?).
Either way, a pointless beer.
DrDavid (361), Johnson, Vermont, USA Oct 9, 2008 (Bottle). Aroma of hay. Golden body, large white head. Very mild and clean flavor, not much going on. Slightly bitter finish. Refreshing and inoffensive, but not impressive. freekyp (822), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA Oct 8, 2008 An altogether unassuming macro lager. Devoid of any malt it does have a very slight grassy hop presence. Has a little bit of body. Boring, but not offensive or flawed. Enjoyit (1108), Vadum, Denmark Oct 8, 2008 Clear golden of color with a foamy white head. An aroma of hops, dust and weak malt. An okay flavor with sweet notes of malt, weak hops and citrus notes. swooper (100), Kladno, Czech Republic Oct 7, 2008 nuts, cereal, golden, clear, aminimal head, lightly bitter, light sweetness, medium body, average carbonation, long finish, Ober (404), Best, Netherlands Oct 6, 2008 On a terrace in Venezia, Italy. A clear yellow colored beer, with a white head. It disappears quickly. The aroma is fresh and fruity, with a little malt. The taste is fresh, citrus, flat, a little bitter. A little bitter aftertaste.
