COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

330 ml bottle. No foam, clear golden colour. A bit of a fruity aroma. Tastes slightly bitter-fruity. Not bad, but not a beer I’m going to remember tomorrow.

Alengrin (214) - BELGIUM - JUL 30, 2014
Probably the best-known Italian standard lager, with snow white, loose head and golden blonde colour; bland, some sweet malts and a bit of grassy hops in the nose, taste equally bland, thinnish mouthfeel, grainy sweetishness and watery finish. Okay as a thirst-quencher when you’re in Italy but not much else.

Grassy, medium sweet, weak bitter. Refreshing by the bottle.

No remarkable aroma. Makes a white foamy head and laces a bit. Tastes very malty with very light hop finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle pour. A fairly simple lager - drinkable, refreshing. Not overly hopped or bitter. Sweet and malty. High carbonation. A beer that you will go for in a pinch, definitely of a higher standard than many adjuncts.

Can from the hotel room in italy. Pale amber risidule head. Very aromatic for a lager, fruity and dry. Taste is bitter and tasty. Perfect for a hot day, very good lager.

(tooml bottle) clear, fizzy light yellow. Corn, lager yeast, noble hops are quite light, fizzy carbonation, this was in italy and a brown bottle so not skunked.

Bottle to glass at Kissa Master, Kyoto. Light gold, tiny head. Soft wheat nose. Light flavours of grass, weak malt. Fresh and clean, but watery in the end. Ok in a pinch maybe.
