Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Italian are not definitively known for good beers. This one reminds me a Fiat Spyder, topless, on a rainy day. But by Italian standards, not a bad beer either. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a pale yellow with a small head that disappears quickly. Aroma of grains, some malt. An average pale lager.

Pale straw-colored beer with a fizzy bright white head. Somewhat musty nose of cardboard with a bit of citrus to balance it a bit. Flavor is pretty much par for the course for a mass-produced lager with a slight sweetness followed immediately by some generic hoppy bitterness without much character. Still, I like this a bit more than other similar beers. Drink it cold and quickly.

330 ml bottle. Very pale golden yellow, crystal clear, with a small, creamy, non persistent bright white head. Lots of graininess on the nose but surprisingly slightly fruity as well. Corn, paper and some dusty notes follow through. Just what I expect for a beer like this: sweet, cloyingly sweet, subtle and astringent bitterness (very mild tho), quite malty but generally very bland. Average to lively carbonation, light body, slightly creamy texture. Bah..

Se questa "birra" rappresenta l’Italia all’estero stiamo messi davvero bene.

Bought several bottles during my holiday in Italy. The beer has a golden color and a small white head, Co2 level is ok. The aroma contains tones of malts, hops and a little citrus is noticable. The taste is a little sweet with some light tones of hops. Further it’s pretty watery. The finish is refreshing and a little bitterness from the hops is noticable. The best lager Italy has to offer. It’s well drinkable comparing to the others.

Fully transparent almost without any hint of colour. But no surprise there - as it is a lager for warm summer days. Very small head, and the beer do die quite fast (so drink up!). The little taste there is hold a hint of sweetneess, almost no hops. Overall very refreshing, with close to no lingering after taste. A nice alternative to sparkling water.

Transfer from BA review on 10-31-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a thick and large white head. The head has a decent level of retention, slowly fading over time to give a nice level of lacing on the side of the glass and a very persistent white film on the top of the brew. Smell – The aroma is heaviest of bready like smell. Mixed with these aromas is a light skunky and light citrus hop smell. Taste – The taste begins of malt and a sweeter corn and caramel flavor. The caramel fades way to more corn sweetness as well as some more bready like malt flavors. In the end a very light herbal hop flavor greets the tongue alongside a light paper like taste. Mouthfeel –The body of the beer lighter with a carbonation level that is rather average. Overall – Ah… Nothing I would really want to drink again and nothing I would recommend.
