COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

66cl bottle. Pours bright gold with a foamy head that stays for a while. Aroma is bread-y rather than malty, and all the better for it. Quite crisp and refreshing when cold, but difficult to drink huge quantities. The bread comes through in the taste, and there is almost a salty sensation on the palate. This develops into an almost olive and/or breadstick taste, meaning that this beer would go well with traditional Mediterranean appetisers. Interesting for an offering from a large commercial brewery.

Pretty good stuff (although, not as good as the La Rossa). Malty, nice color and flavor.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2006 Good one!, for a lager, I liked it very much, it is clar and refreshing, very lager but it doesn’t have that corch aftertaste of the most of the lager beers.

Has a nice golden color and a hop smell. Taste is lightly malted and finishes nicely hopped. Overall this wasn't a bad pils at all.

Good bit of eye-tie beer. Smooth taste. Got pissed on this and it ain’t got a nasty next day impurities headache surprise... Yeah, this one will be sampled-a-plenty.

I thought this was a good beer, slightly sweet, had a nice flavor, its true its kind of weak, but I think it is underrated on this site.
