light on taste and lighter on palate. this beer needs a swift kick in the pants. The dude on the bottle is pretty neat to look at - such a cool mustache, it’s sort of a foam filter if you will.

Sep 5, 2008 This is one of only a couple of Italian beers that are easy to find in America, and it is the first one I am rating. It ranks pretty low overall, but fairly high in the style. That shows how ratebeer drinkers feel about pale lagers (although this seemed more like a pilsner to me). The nice label shows a painting of a gentleman in a dark green suit. Pale pour with a fizzy, disappearing head. This has a fairly typical Euro pilsner aroma: Czech hops with a little lemon and honey, plus a faint whiff of urine. The taste is dry pilsner. It does not fall into the trap of adding a lot of sugary sweetness, so it stays crisp and bright. Moretti has virtually no aftertaste and makes very little impression on the palate. A decent light brew.

does not count  Aug 30, 2008 it’s one of my favourite beers to drink everyday, not too strong and not too light, perfect for a Pizza or many "normal" italian dishes.

Aug 23, 2008 Yellow with a fragmented head. Grassy aroma, hay and bushes. The flavours are watery and metallic. Full pressure on the carbonation, and that’s that.
