Birra Moretti is a genuine beer produced using a traditional process that has remained almost unchanged since 1859. To produce Birra Moretti, only the highest quality raw materials are used and a particular mixture of valuable hops, that gives the beer its aroma and unique fragrance, intensifying the slight bitter flavour. It is a low fermented beer that has a golden colour, the tone of which is given by the quality of malt used. The alcoholic content is 4,6% volume that make it suitable to drink at any time of the day. In fact it is a perfect accompaniment to both dinner and lunch or to drink in the evening with friends.

Clear straw pour, low head, no lace. Very skunky, corny aroma. Low carb, with a skunky cinnamon flavor. Thick, phlegmy mouthfeel. Not bad, much like a Heineken.

"refreshing, crisp and clean. pairs well with italian food. this is a step above your standard lager. I’ll buy others at $8-9 a sixer, but worth ordering at a meal."

Typical lager of this type. It’s drinkable if a bit bland but it’s certainly not unpleasant.

330ml served in a Weizen glass. A: Pours a pale yellow color forming a big bubbled white head. Low retention and not much lacings left S: Smells like a Heineken. Sweet grains and traditional skunky stingy Heineken hops. Lager yeasts and adjunct malts (corn, probably) T: Follows the nose. Sweet grains upfront. Adjunct malts. Metallic and ashy. Dry taste, in overall. Mild grassy earthy hops in the end M: Very light body. Fizzy carbonation. Mild bitter aftertaste O: A mild version of a Heineken. Not a beer that I will drink again [ BA Review @ 6/30/2012 ]

Blonde claire, effervescence moyenne-faible, le col blanc ne tient pas. Malts pils, très légère amertume, le maïs (annoncé) se fait sentir. Une lager parmi bien d’autres...

Pale yellow colour, white head. Unimpressive hoppy aroma. Rather bland taste, but easily drinkable.

0.33l bottle. Light golden color with white head. Malty and grainy aroma. Taste is sweet. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation and watery palate. Overall it’s easy drinkable beer, but nothing more than that.

So you think to yourself, I’m at a Italian food joint that does a pretty good job at its food. The one actual Italian beer offering they have on tap has to be decent right? RIGHT? ah...nope. The beer pours an orange gold with a inch of foam. Smells of general cereal malts, a little syrup. The taste is cereal malts again, a little bittering hops, but really this is an "easy drinker" because it "goes down smooth" with a lovely corn fructose finish. I should have know Vesuvio’s would have crapped out on their beer, the black olives on their pizzas are those crappy sawdust tasting canned one. For shame!
