Medium white head. Hazy opaque yellow body with strong carbonation. Charcoal smoke and herbs aroma with oily spicy linoleum notes. Dry-sweetish mealy smoky taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, milky mouthfeel. Dryish mealy milky aftertaste with smoky honey and spice notes. It’s very mild and subtle, but nice, and the smoke blends in well. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Golden beer. Smoky aroma, bacon-like flavour. It does not impress compared to the Bamberg originals, and it is too weak to stand up to more big smoky beers. But it is pleasant drinking.

On tap at BQ, Via Losanna, Milano. Hazy golden with a creamy head. Smoked malts aroma and quite meaty in the mouth. well-crafted for sure witha good malty backbone.

Unusual little hazy yellow color, little fraught aspect with a medium bubbly body. Decided smoked aroma with pleasant rumors of clear mildrew, hop and aged cellar. Much prickly and lively in the mouth. Floral and herbs notes. Very dry final.

Bottle at Papsø. Clear golden coloured with a medium sized off-white ehad. Sweet aroma of caramel, smoke and hay. Malty flavour of caramel, smoked, hops, hay and grass. Hoppy finish.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Cloudy amber - white head. Nice smokey, fruity, light malty, wooden, light sweetness, recidual sugar. Nice.

Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, shoe polish - smoke - plastic. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100911]
