Bottle at the Chriso’s May tasting, London. It pours a clean straw color with a medium white head. Aroma is grainy, with notes of hay, bread, biscuit, light caramel and vegetables. Taste is medium sweet and grainy, with notes of corn, starch, bread and biscuit. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, too sweet. It was in a rotbox for a reason I believe

Bottle shared at Chrisso’s May 2014 tasting 25/05/2014. Thanks to the kernel rot box. Yellow / straw coloured pour with a loose white head that persists. Aroma is corn, grainy and some skunk, sweet grains. Flavour is earthy straw, sweet pils grains, corn. Some staling. Some hot alcohol in the finish. Light skunk.

Bottle at the chriso May 2014 tasting - London. Unknown vintage - sourced from The Kernel rotbox. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a white froth head. The aroma holds white bread, light paper and cereal. Light to medium sweet flavor with sugary white bread and very mild bitter hay. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish with mild paper, straw and vanilla creme. Not bad!

Bottle, at Kristiansand Ølfestival. It’s a lightly unclear one, golden in color and topped by a dense, off-white head of two finger size. Pale malts, some citrus and a generic fruityness in the aroma. It’s medium bodied and with a nice carbonation A decent bitterness in the flavor, both initially and in the end, with pale malts in the back. Quite fruity. Medium body and a nice carbonation level. A rather boring one, too much at the malty side. 140823

For me it’s a typical lager, with almost no taste and not bitterness. Clear gold color.

Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Light haze on this pale gold beer, fluffy white head. Palate is airy, light and semi dry. Light airy pale malts. Whisper of citrus. Light dry finish. Doesn’t offend but quite dull.

Bottle @ Chriso May 14 tasting. Pours light gold, fairly sweet lager, full-bodied taste. Actually didn’t mind this! Maybe after all the crazy beers we had tonight it’s nice to level things out with a lager!
