2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle in Venice. BB 18.03.16. Hazy paleish golden. White head with some lace and nice retention. Looks good compared with the other pissy lagers I’ve recently had. The nose is sourish, grainy, malty (mash). Even too sourish, appley. Grainy taste, some of the sourness present here too, otherwise not noteworthy. Definitely among the better widely available options while in Venice.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cerveza rubia de corte artesanal. Buen cuerpo, pero sin complejidad. Es bastante corriente, pero gana puntos si se bebe en Venecia.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Shared a 33cl bottle. Pours a clear yellow straw colour with a thin white head. Aroma is hay, cereal and light hops. Average carbonation and light watery body. Taste is light, watery, but more bitter than sweet. Overall, a normal lager with not much of craft in it.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle 33 cl.
Pours clear, yellow and sparkling, with a medium white frothy head, that dwindles. Boring, but very correct for a lager.
Sweet aroma with some fruity candy or perfume. Maybe bubble gum. Mild doughy yeast. Very Italian.
Light body, slick and lively, with a metallic finish.
Short acidic and salty flavour.
Lives up to expectations. Not a beverage for enjoying in a lounge, with correct glass and a notebook. This beer is to be drunk in the sun, after hard manual labour. Which is quite strange for an Italian beer, which then have to compete with wine. Which they do so much better.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from a small shop near the Piazzo Colonna in Rome. Pours translucent gold with a slight white head. Aroma is sort of yeasty. Med body. Flavor is lightly bready, a little yeasty, and has a light amount of noble hop. Yet somehow it comes out as decently tasty. No real resemblance to an ale, but not all that much like most of the yucky premium lagers either. I think it would go quite well with Pizza Funghi or similar.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Very grainy and metallic aroma. Foggy yellow appearance. Slight bitterness followed by vegetal sweetness. Light bodied, feels airy. Like many Euro lagers, minus the heavy skunk.
