Unclear medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Initial aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, earthy notes. Aroma after first taste is moderate malty, smoke. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, smoke, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft. [20121110]

From bottle at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small, creamy and dense head. Toasted malty, caramelish and light breadish. Mild yeasty too. Bitter and dry toasted malty flavoured.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty grainy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, smoke, wood, fruits, nuts and hops.

Bottle. There’s lots of microfloaties in this one, it’s hazy and dark orange in color. A small, dense, light beige head sits on top. The aroma is fruity and lighlty smoked, ham notes and some bread. Caramel hints in the flavor, along with smoked ham, some bread and tropical fruits. Lacks on bitterness I think, but as it’s brewed to be a beer drank with food, I guess it’s ok. Medium body, rather sweetish. Fruity and smoked finish. Drinking it without food isn’t much interesting, never tried it with food. 121110

Lovely hazy orange with an equally lovely, atying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, hay, light oranges. Medium carbonation, fine grainy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, grainy, light piney. Rather elegant for the style.

Bottle shared at the 6th annual Richmond Industry Gathering, 11/27/11. Pours a hazy amber color with a large frothy white head. Decent head retention. Yeasty aroma with notes of citrus, stone fruits, earth and caramel. The taste is bitter floral hops, caramel and toasted malts. Medium bodied.
