COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle share at Leighton’s, thanks to Cilon. As ’Birradamare Raaf Raaf Raaf Raaf’, 6.0%, BB July 2016. I like the design of the bottle and the label on this. Hazy, cloudy, dirty orange, lightly sparkling, small foamy off-white head, dotted lacing. Aroma is meaty, smoked ham, orange, a little sour. Body is medium, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is resin, tangerine, light smoke with a dry finish. Pretty decent.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Cloin. Pours hazy orange-gold with a foamy white head. Dry smoke in the nose, a little bread, citrus, grain. Medium sweet flavor with grainy pale bread, phenols, light smoke. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry grains on the finish, some smoke, citrus, dough, hay. So so.

Bottle thanks to Cloin. It pours cloudy with a small off - white head. The nose is rich, oily, smoked malt, smoked meats, honey, chewy malt, muffin and earth. The taste is rich, sweet - smokey, spicy, honey, grainy, smoked kipper, straw and toasted grass. Medium body and fine carbonation. Run of the mill smoked ale.

Bottle split at LKS high up place, from BOE, 21/01/16. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off White covering. Nose is sweet malt, light smoke, plastic tones, caramel, light spice. Taste comprises more sweet malts, light smoke, cough syrup, tangy fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Hazy copper pour with a white head. Toffee. lots of smoke, ash and apricot aroma which segues nicely into the flavour. Good take on the style.

Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has mild minerally crispness. The malts bring a light cream. The smoke is bordering on strong but it’s well integrated and it’s a kings floral smoke, the beechwood maybe. Touch if lactose in the semi dry finish. Pretty drinkable.

Dorata con schiuma bianca di media persistenza. Al naso un po piatta, affumicato poco presente. Molto meglio al palato, dove l’ingresso dolce lascia subito spazio al affumicato, sapore di speck intenso e dolce.

Bottle. woodsmoke and orange peel nose. Cloudy orange , offwhite head. medium body, sparkly mellow mouthfeel. nice fruit (clementine) and smoke mix, a hint too sulphuric in the smoke.

330ml bottle served in a Lager glass. Pours a dark orange to amber color forming a small light bubbled head with low retention and only very few lacings left in the glass. Sweet smoked nose. Strong notes of roasted malts and caramel. Bacon :). Slightly sweet upfront taste. Strong notes of roasted and caramel malts. Malty and crispy. Some notes of oak and whiskey. Light notes of grassy hops. Light bitter finish. Light body. Good carbonation. Good drinkability. Nice Smoked made in Italy.

ASPETTO: ambrato torbido, schiuma bianca, fine, abbastanza abbondante e molto persistente (ne rimane sempre qualche millimetro).
