Bottle at home. Pours a cloudy reddish brown colour with a medium light beige head. Aroma of dried fruit, brown sugar, caramel, sweet malt and chocolate. More dried fruit in the flavour and wood, leather, roasted almonds and brown sugar. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A smooth and sweet bock bier. Nice.

Bottle. Brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is sourness, malt, fruit. Flavour is malt, hop, sourness, fruit, caramel. Medium body. OK beer.

Pours a three finger khaki head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Hazy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Caramel nose and flavor is caramel, malty and some dried dark fruit. Decent bock. $4.95 for a 330ml bottle from Bert’s Better Beers Hooksett, NH

330 ml bottle. Hazy reddish amber body with an off-white head. Aroma has malt, fruit and slightly acidic berries. Flavour is sweetish malt, fruity and light acidity. Moderate bitterness. Medium body and quite light in aftertaste. A bit unusually, but has a smooth complexity and I enjoyed it quite much.

Flaske 0,33l spandert av Rune og delt under rateseanse i WCveien 4 Okt 12. Dyp mahogny farget. Middels høyt, litt farget skum som flater ut. God sviskearoma. Søt. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er tre & nøtter. Blir vel søt. Tørr, treaktig ettersmak.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Deep coppery body, small off-white head. Aroma is deep tones of red berries, caramel, nuts and hints of water melon, almonds and jasmine. Nice. Taste is mellow caramel and nuts with red berries and melon in the back. Traces of honey. Pleasant. Smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice drinking beer, which values smoothness over excitement. It works, in this case.

Pretty average attempt with this first tasting from these guys. They at least try to go after the style. I can see some potential, but this over-gassed bock left me flat.

The aroma is papery with caramel and mixed grains. The hops are light but grassy. The appearance is hazy deep amber with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a licorice/medicinal quality. The palate is average. Overall not that good but for some reason I want to drink it.
