330 ml bottle purchased at 5titus, Olot in Spain. Hazy dark brown with a nice tan head. Nice aroma of slightly burnt malt, fruity hops, grass and hint of liquorices. Flavor is malty with refreshing bitter fruity hops, light caramel and chocolate. Medium body. Gives a relatively light impression, still some nice malt flavors and good balanced bitterness. Could be described as a “Black American Pale Ale”? Definitively quaffable.

Red-brown, clear and fizzy like coke, with a thin head at least. Chocolate essence aroma. Very light and fizzy in the mouth with rather sickly flavour that you get when you use too much chocolate malt. Watery and bitter finish.

Bottle from La Cerveteca, Barcelona. Pours pitch black with a very thick very creamy tan, almost solid head leaving huge amounts of lacing. Aroma is very roasted, with mocha and caramel. Flavor is a little watery, roasted malts, quite sweet and bitter in a nice balance. Bitter in the finish. Watery texture, lively carbonation.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of brown sugar. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, spices, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light. Thanks yespr for sharing.

A Mes rate. Bottle from La Cervateca, Barcelona (Hi Rene!).
Dark, murky red brown with a thin but lasting beige head. Lots of coffee and chocolate with some nice zesty fruit and a pleasant dry feel. Really good milk chocolate finish. A little one dimensional and there are faint cardboardy notes throughout but it’s not enough to spoil it. Pleasantly drinkable.
