330 ml bottle. Hazy dark golden body with a thin tan head. Mild and quite sweetish aroma, caramel, candy and some kind of cooked citric fruit. Mild flavor as well, sweet malt, honey/caramel ‘ish, not much bitterness. Medium body. Drinkable, but pretty medium all over and a bit boring.

Bottle from La Cerveteca, Barcelona. Hazy orange to brown pour, thin off-white head. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt and brown sugar. Flavor is slightly sweet and fruity, somewhat bitter roasted and nicely in balance. More bitter with some coffee and licorice in the finish. Creamy texture and lively carbonation. Nice brew.

Bottle from The Cracked Kettle, AMS. Dark copper red, medium head. Fruity toffee aroma. Rather sweet flavours, hints of fruit and some toast. Hard on the tongue. Too sweet in my opinion.

A Mes rate. Bottle from la Cervateca, drunk in our appartment in Barcelona.
Murky dark amber with a thin white head and some seriously heavy sediment gradually making its way to the bottom of the glass. An almost infected, plastic note dominates a little too much. Very floral and fruity. Cheap kids sweets, vaguely reminiscent of Parma Violets. Faint burnt malt in the background. It certainly has character, but not one that will make it too many friends.
