COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Draught at Orzobruno, Pisa. Amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma and flavour of toasted malt, nuts, caramel and berries. Good balance. Mild bitterness. Sweet malty finish.

Draught, Orzo Bruno, Pisa. Brilliant bronze beneath uneven, lacing white. Fizz, chocolatey malt, orange hop, slight ash and yeast aroma. Choc orange, dry roasted, earthy clean malts and lingering caramel. Some decent pithy US hops in there? (apparently not). Very bottled English yeasty, with impressive hop tang squeezed from European varieties alone. Easily the tastiest Italian beer I’d ever had, at the time...

My Bottom Line:
Toasted cereals are decorated by a caramel coulis as wooden, earthy hops seal each sip of this healthy and quite drinkable non-denominational red ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-Creamy foam tops the hazy, dark amber.
-This was served around 10 degrees Celsius; kudos to them!
-Some cantaloup-like fruitiness is felt also.
-The hops here are a blend of Hallertauer Northern Brewer, Tettnang Tettnanger and EKGolding.
-Soft bubbling creates a highly drinkable mouthfeel.
-The flavor profile is balanced.

On tap at Orzobruno, Pisa.
