Italian IPA extraluppolata.

Draft @ Green River, Bologna. Note résineuse et sève, fin sec et épais rappelant l’avoine.

The head is medium, the body golden and cloudy. It smells fruity, hoppy, a bit bitter. The taste is a bit hoppy, bitter, aromatic, hoppy, a bit dry. Drinkable. 11/11/10/10//12/11

50cl, 5,4% in my bottle. amber-cloudy in the glass, nice hoppy and sweet nose. The beer starts hoppy-aromatic, fruity with a nice hop aroma, that also dominates the main part. The yeast is also nice and present and makes the beer become smoother. The ending is fruity, hoppy and very well-balanced. --> Nice italian IPA! 10/12/10/10

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como
Golden color; medium sized head, compact. The aroma is hoppy, grassy, with a faint trace of citrus fruit. Good malt flavor, with powerful bitterness, strong hop resins, very light fruity character, but also a mild residual sweetness that helps the whole. Long final.
Cohesive blend, pleasant.

MOlto buona e beverina! la prima che bevo di questo birrificio e mi e’ piaciuta assai! Non sembra molto ipa nell’aroma e nel sapore il retrocusto pero’ e’ da ipa e amaro ma non invadente! Ottima birra!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks Dror. Slightly hazy golden. Fruity aroma, sourish and a bit yeasty. Sweetish-sourish flavor, fruity and somewhat yeasty, with a bitter finish with floral hops. Medium-bodied. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle 50 cl bought @ BiBere (Rome, Italy). Well, despite the ungovernable foam that overwhelm in every sense my pint - and pour was well made, I swear -, so much that I should wait two minutes for the storm quietness, and this goes on EVERY pour attempt, color is cloudy orange/gold. Aroma is typically more East Kent oriented, than Chinook: leaves, caramel, a little yeasty, but weak in the end. Taste, uh... I’ll try to explain what I feel over the EXTREME carbonation that fizzle tongue, palate and gengivae as well. It’s like seltz, really. What the...?! Bah! Anyway. In such a mess, you could feel a light body, not watery but without character mark. It’s flat, no way, or - said well - boring. Judgment recovers on finish, harsh and bitter not strongly, but pleasant and last long. In the end, a minor IPA (or APA?). Label says: "Serve at 12°C"... I had a try at 8-10°, and as much as temperature increases, surely body get out of hand. Not so bad, but foam is unmanageable and carbonation unbalanced. Should be improved, in my opinion.
