COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Sampled @ ChrisO Pre-GBBF Shindig. Opaque dark brown color, average sized beige to light brown colored head. Aroma is very faint, hardly detect anything other than malts and brown malts. Taste malts, brown malts, a distant hint of hop, malt bitter and the slightest touch of caramel and chocolate. Average body and carbonation. Decent.

Opaca, negra rojiza. Abundante espuma tostada. Efervescencia. Aroma tostado. Café. Tabaco. Buen contrapunto ahumado. Interesante.

Good colour jet black , perfect carbonation nice and soft but not flat very drinkable its going down quick. I feel I’m drinking it too cold though its got an oiliness not creamy . good all round flavour like a stout in ireland however i am getting hints of smoke on the back of the palate. pleasant drinking though the soft smoke notes are adding even more character . I will try it agin tomorrow warmer, not at the 9c or 10 c I’m drinking but maybe 13c

Aged sample Medium greige head, over very deep-brown, nearly black beer. Mineral water, bit mineral and lots of roasted/burnt malts. A bit of sweetness wafting in the background. Roasted, but mild, with a sweet base and again a tad salty/mineral. Quite watery, thinnish, with a pappery, sticky finish. Light - not that stout. I’m guessing the mineral hails from the water, but other tasters suggested the yeast. Mille grazie, D.& M.!
