3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2010 Flaske 0,33l som Rune hadde med til Sankthansfeiring 2009. Pen flaske. Gyldenbrun på farge. Uklar. KI=5

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Compact and nice 330ml bottle shared at a drinking session at Finns. One-finger, beige head resting all the way on top of an opaque, amber body. Lightly spiced aroma overlaid by chocolate malts. Rather exciting taste character containing dark fruits, earthy malts, cocoa and a touch of anise. Spiced hop bitterness in the aftermath. Medium bodied. Has definitely got some very bright moments. Thanks to Skinnyviking for the bottle (Tromsø, 23.06.2009).

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Mondial 2009. Pours a ruddy light amber brown with a lasting nice off white head. Aroma is very earthy, rope-like, leather, with some fresh citrus hops, but also hints of cheesy old stale hops, ligth caramel malts and toast- with a doughy yeastiness- unique. Flavor is more earth, spcice, light dirt, phenolic and peppery with citrus and lemon zesty hops, and tea-like overall- light bitterness and becomes a touch astringent. Meh.

Bottle @ Mondial 2009.
Aroma has plenty of orange hops, lots of good malt too, cloudy orange/brown, small custard head. Taste of orange and malt combine to give a nice overall finish. Light bodied, fine bitterness. Quite good.
