(Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm) Reddish amber colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with blood oranges and citrussy hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of blood oranges, citrus peel, caramel and slightly resiny hops in the finish. Very nice balance with a nice hoppy character. Well done!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml bottle. An unclear amber beer with a medium sized, quite persistent, creamy white head. Nice hoppy aroma, with fruity (grapefruit), grassy and flowery notes. Light underlying malt aroma. The flavour is hoppy too, once again very much grapefruit, lychee and grass. Well balanced and highly drinkable. Medium body, average carbonation, dry long finish with medium to high bitterness. Well crafted.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Cloudy darkish amber, rich creamy head. strong hoppy citric grapefruit aroma. Sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. Notes of strawberries and caramel, but hops is dominant. Long resiny bitterness. Very American style, both is terms of malt and hop character, yet with something that tells me it’s not really American made.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle bought in Parma.
Fruity aroma. Prunes, tobacco, spices, leather.
Very dry and dusty hops.
A bit too light weight to handle the hops, a stronger beer would have been more balanced, perhaps.
But it’s a nice beer, and very promising for a new brewery.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Yellow-pistacchio head over bright red-amber beer; end of bottle cloudy. C-hops, very dry, bit of cookies, dried orange peel. Very well malt (caramel-,cookie-)backed USA hops for a good IPA. EXCELLENT balance. Very slightly burning MF, slick, well-bodied. It is rare to find such a balanced IPA. For an Italian one, this is an instant classic.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very strong american hoppy nose, with a slight malty balancing. Well brewed indeed but a bit too watery and dry for my likings.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Birra dell’Anno Awards 2007, Milan.
Hazy amber/orange colour with big rocky head. Fruity aroma with hints of red apples and slight chocolatey. Pretty much hops in flavouring, that gives oiliness to body. Good marked bitternss, that lasts long.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at "Italia Beer Festival 2007" - Brescia.
Orange color, much luminosity, tenuous with practically absent bubbly. Fine and adherent head. Typical aromas, woody and fresh malty notes. Dry, lightly sweet taste in principle and bitterish in conclusion. Pleasant notes of sweet wood and cereals.
