Bottle. Hazy red brown with a beige foam. Aromas are toffee malts with spices. Some pine and quite yeasty. Flavours are chocolate and toffee malts with bitter grapefruit. Dry and peppery with pine hops. Good stuff.

Perfumy aroma and rather sweet. Slightly sourish.
Flowery, grassy, hoppy flavour.
Medium body with a rather dyr and long bitterness.
Somewhat vinous.

Mondiale 2009. Very good bitterness from this pale, Light body. As good as a good American pale with orange and malt, with above average IBU.

33 cl bottle at home. Clear amber color, nice off-white/beige head. Aroma is malty with some fruit and hops. Flavor is moderate sweet malty, fruit, pine and much bitterness. Fine carbonation. Not as balanced as expected, but a fine American Åale Ale.

Appearance: Dark orange brown, hazy. Some light tan head.
Aroma: Fruit, malt and hops. Slight sweetness.
Taste: Fruit, hops, slightly tart. And of course malt. Citrus?

Amber with off-white head. Aroma of hop spices and citrus. Flavor with malt and caramel and some fruit.

Bottle. Hops and grass in aroma. Golden amber colour with beige head. Bitter flavour with flowers and spices. Long lasting bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden/amber with small off-white head. Flavour is malt, citrus, hops, caramel, bitter, little pine and fruit.

Another bottle of surprise from Italy. It’s slightly pretentious name makes me put on my "stern judge glasses" as I commence to pour out a cloudy amber with a thin, white head as top. Smell is not strong, but indicates a floral, hoppy kinda thing coming up. Right indeed, the fruity American hops come blended rather elegantly with some deeper, malty notes. Strong, grassy hop; not quite IPA strength but almost. Very drinkable. Prego Italia for this one, which is an original and well-made brew, despite the fact that all those wonderful notes in there just makes me long for its big brother who has a bit more of everything there is in it. Let’s hope such a version comes around my way.

Bottle, 33cl, from Vinmonopolet, Oslo. 5.4% ABV. BB 15.11.2010. Two-inch offwhite head, slowly diminishing. Reddish amber colour, fairly clear, becoming hazier towards the end of the bottle. Fabulous nose; hoppy and sweet malty. Medium-bodied palate initially with a prominent near-IPA hop bitterness, but it finishes a bit harsh and thin, leaving a somewhat unbalanced impression.
