A blend of New Morning and 18 month aged 3 Fonteinen Lambic refined for at least 12 months in bottle. It has a surprisingly citrus nose of leather, cellar and animal with hints of dried flowers and honey. Lasting and sapid in the mouth with a sour finish that always makes the lovers of this blend smile.
This beer could very well make you develop an addiction for spontaneous fermentation and turn your entire world upside down!

After a mechanical breakdown, 3 Fonteinen Brewery of Beersel (possibly the best Lambic blender in the world) had economic damage in the summer of 2009. The news caused such a stir in the International beer movement that I called Armand to know how things were. As he needed to sell his Lambic, I immediately got inspired to blend our New Morning with his beer. We selected three 18 month old Lambic barrels that we siphoned in a small tank on our truck. The journey back was long and hard, myself and Manuel took turns driving through Belgium, France and Italy only stopping for gas. After days hand bottling and months of maturation, the outcome has gone over and beyond our expectations and we can say with pride that it was worth it!

Bottle at Stone Sour Fest 2013. Hazy yellow, with a fizzy white head. Nice tartness, fruit, funk, musty yeast, berry, woody, and some hay. Similar to a gueuze, pretty tasty.

Hazed gold pour with white head and lace. Aroma of creamy rich brown sugar. Sour start, sweet malt, with a flat tart finish. A tad thin and watery.

Bottiglia attempata, addirittura etichetta stampata al computer. Bel colore albicocca intenso, torbido.

Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione media. Birra magnifica, da bere a ettolitri!

Hand bottle from PBF, thanks veliempojot

Pours dark orange with a tiny head. Aroma of sour berries, some tartness, yeast and farmyard. Taste is smooth, tart and slightly sourish with some notes of berries, fruits, farmyard and yeast. Finish is yeasty and sourish. A bit untypical mix, but still quite tasty.

750 ml bottle @WPBF 2013. Vintage 2009.
Pours a hazy orange colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of citrus, urinal cake, wood and floral perfume. Flavour of strong tart berries, tart apricot, citrus, weak caramel, floral hops and strong wood. Medium bodied, dry mouthfeel and a tart, dry, wood-like finish. Although I didnt enjoy the aroma, the flavour was excellent. Great stuff.

Rather nice aroma with earthy notes and some citrus. Feels like a good farmhouse saison. Flavour is dry, tart and very gueuze‐like. It has grapefruit, some earthy notes and orange. Very nice!
