3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A soft, steady pour produces a ½-finger thick, pale tan colored head. The beer is a pale amber / gold color that shows a brilliantly clear, full gold color when held up to the light. The aroma smells of light, not quite faint, lactic acid, funky phenolics & musk, perhaps a hint of citrus, lots of dried-grass / hay like graininess, a touch of medicinal notes.
Nicely tart tasting, it manages to have a bite without being overly sour. There is a spicy, bitter, sort of herbal bite to the finish that melds with a rounded, pale malt and grassy grain character. There is a certain lemon like character to the acidity towards the finish, this seems like a departure from a typical Lambic contribution. Light bodied and quaffable, but it has a soft creamy texture to it, despite having some prickly effervescence; light but with some palate presence. Earthy spice notes mix with hay / straw like grain notes to produce something that I imagine to be a dried field of weeds / wildflowers. Hints of medicinal notes (both herbal and Lambic in character), some lightly musky notes, and a definite mustiness come out more as the beer warms up.
A really nice blend of Saison and Lambic; this plays out as such as well, with noticeable components of each; I like the soft herbal affects, and the Lambic notes certainly bring a lot to the profile of this beer.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a slightly hazy golden color with two finger of fizzy white foam. The nose is a mix of rustic grain, hay, lemon, stonefruit and horse blanket. On the palate its follows the nose nicely with a spritzy barnyard backbone heightened by floral grass, dusty lemon, nectarine and a touch of wet oak. Really wonderful flavors all coming together into a complex dry dusty finish. YUM !

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Thanks to Tommy for sharing this one! Pours a clear golden with a low white head that offers good lacing. Aroma is really fresh, fruity and full of brett aromatics. You can feel the lambic in there. Taste is lightly tart, fruity and spicy, really like a good and light saison. There is some barnyard/funk in there but it is really well integrated and classy. Mouthfeel is juicy, carbonation medium-high (quite a festive beer if you ask me!). I really, really enjoyed this one... (if only) I could drink this all the time...

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle (750 ml). Thanks to kbudd19 for this one! Unclear copper with a medium off-white head and some lacing. Aroma is leathery with some barnyard notes, fruits (peaches, apricots), yeast, spices and herbal/floral notes. Taste is also leathery with more lambic character than in the aroma. There’s also yeast, floral notes, hay, fruits, lemon, spices and herbal notes. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. Dry finish. The Lambic (3 Fonteinen) and Saison are both recognizable and the balance is really good. Drinkable aplenty and quite complex. Very nice blend!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
pours hazy and bright golden orange with a nice white head, some retention and lacing. fruity and floral relatively young lambic - peaches, melons, roses, honey, spices. lambic gives way to fruity and spicy saizohn yeast characteristics. average to moderate carbonation - could be brighter, light body - oily, dry herbal-grassy-spicy astringent and dusty finish. great!

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of hay, citrus, lemon zest, barn, light silage, apricot, quite fruity, bit floral. Light sour flavour, white wine, pinot gris, hint of chamomile tea. Bit light body. Fruity finish, light lemon juice, malts, spicy touch. Nice and refreshing brew.
