On tap at Paradiso P Street, pours a hazy purple with a spitty ring of head. Nose has some vinegar, cherry, mild fruit, juicy, apples too, mild medicine. Flavor is cherry, berries, candy, malt, medicine, mild honey. Tart and sweet finish.

Gorgeous beer, really deep, dark, purple/brown. Minimal head. Smells like berries, raspberry juice, sour, a little funky yeast. Taste is quite sour up front, seemed one dimensional at first, but there is plenty going on here.

Outstanding balance of sour and sweet. Refreshing and wonderful. Had t the gnarly barley in Orlando.

On tap at small BA, Malmö. Pours a slightly hazy golden with an orange hue. Sour with some sweet- and dryness. Aromas of raspberries and woody sourness. Medium bodied. Quite soft carbonation. Dry raspberry finish. Reminds me a bit of a Flemmish sour with berries.

On tap @ Elfo’s Pub, Perugia, Italy. Pours with a light rosè hazy colour, amazing! Fast diminishing white head. Aroma is softly malty, softly hoppy, notes of raspberry and fruit. Taste is soft to medium sweet, soft bitter, heavy sour, quite well-balanced. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation.

Very well done raspberry beer. Ruby pour without much head or lacing. Light sour finish and definitely tastes just like the berry with some malt. Light tart/sour finish. Tap at Max’s.

Draft. Pours burgundy with a pink head. Lightly tart raspberry base, light acidity, lighter funkiness, with some hints of candy sweetness. Not bad.

carbonated raspberry, effervescent with thin cream ring. Heavy jam nose is raspberry, rust and faintly metallic. Similar profile, seedy front palate becomes carbonic mid, biting co2 through the lightly sulfuric esters and faintly playdoh and rubber phenols in the surprisingly watery finish. High carbonation feigns minerality in the low acid end, mainly citric that’s kept in check by moderate berry fruit sweetness. Dial up fruit, dial down esters, lower carbonation and you’d approach raspberry tart.

Draft pour at bambinos Italian craft beer fest. Sour mixed berry fruit aroma. Blackberry and raspberry dominant flavor, with a little cherry. Amazing fruit flavor with the perfect sour balance. Amazing beer.

Draft at stumbling monk. Pours deep, murky red/purple with pink head that dissipates immediately. Ends up as a ruby-highlighted brown after it settles. Aroma: sweet fruits, balsamic, cherry/raspberry, not much oak. Taste is on the sweet side, with balsamic and a mildly tart finish that is cut a lot by the sweetness. In the vein of the duchess I guess, though less vinegar. After I let it sit a bit, there is more prune juice and sweetened Cheerios. Medium body, slick texture, pleasant and drinkable. This is nice.
