The anise really asserts itself in the otherwise fruity, woodsy and tangy aroma. Medium to full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Moderately sweet and moderately acidic with low bitterness. Fruity, vinous and woodsy with a hint of spice. Finishes moderately tangy and lightly sweet. redlight (1511), Winter Park, Florida, USA

Pours hazy red-golden with a thin, bubbly, white film head. Aroma is spicy, oranges, cloves and lightly fruity tart. Low carbonation, nice creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is light, balanced sweet, pleasantly spicy. The cloves are powerful, almost drying the beer out. Some toffee. Long aftertaste with light dryness.
