Pours a hazy copper with a spotty white head and displays good legs. Aroma is fruity, citrus, lemony, cherry, lightly funky and a little earthy. Flavour is tart, funky, lemony, cherry, mildly sweet, and a touch earthy. Oh how I love the puckering beers!

Bottle into tulip glass. Pours a hazy light brown amber colour with no head. Aroma is fruity sour. Taste is pleasantly sour and bright. Kind of liking this beer. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

CBAC Day 5: whooo! Cloudy orange pour with a finger of foamy head, no lacing. Decent amount of sediment which settled quickly. Funky, earthy aroma. I wasnít expecting a Belgian Sour in the calendar so this was an awesome surprise! Very tart flavour up front, crazy sour cherry and lemon notes. Some yeasty funk and spices linger on the tongue afterwards.

330ml bottle pours an orange amber color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is lemon zest and yeast with some earthy tones. Taste is a lemon sourness with some funky tones and a dry finish. Medium bodied with generous carbonation that tickles the tongue. A nicely done sour ale that has a good dose of pucker power. Recommended.

The aroma is sour with cherries and some weird basement aromas. It has a sour taste definitely a sipping beer. It?s good beer but you need to like sour browns.

Bottle. Labeled as Krampus special, not sure if this the right place to enter this but others have put the same version here. Muddy reddish brown pour, aroma is sour funk, tart cherries, leather and oak. Taste is tart funk, cherries, acidic, oak, light sweetness, with a tart sour finish. Very reminiscent of a sour brown, and very tasty.

Reeks of sour fruits and boozy fermentation, pour up a light but cloudy copper color, little head,..overwhelming sour flavor unlike any fruit sour ive ever tasted, makes it hard to detect any lingering flavors, maybe apples almost like a cider..deffiently a beer that at first your apprehensive of but as you sip you start to enjoy it more and more..

Itís a cloudy colour of rust, 1 finger head of foam that lasts and lasts. Decent lacing. The nose is of brett, spice and sour goodness. More Brett than sour so I canít quite pull out what the sour consists of. Maybe when I taste it..Same goes for the spice which, from the label, suggests Star Anise. Tastewise, the sour is prominent and Iíll take a guess and say itís fruity like in sou r cherries. Funk, yep. Spicy, quite bitter, guessing itís coming from the star anise. Overall, very tasty for a sour. Medium body and carbonation. the alcohol seems to be very well hidden, so drinkability is very good. I donít know aboot this being a top choice for a Christmas brew, but itís very good. +$27 will me think twice aboot buying it again, though.

Bottle. Murky amber with TONS of sediment. Iím wondering if there are a few versions of this beer that arenít listed on RB, because this is definitely a sour, but I see other reviewers have also tasted sour in this beer. Fairly tart sour aroma, touch of vanilla and some soft fruits. Medium sour tart flavour. Pretty tasty and nicely balanced sour, assuming itís intentional.
