Blend of Krisopolis (a new beer, that will be available in the future, fermented in barrels for 2 years, then Morello cherries are added to it), with a part of Ultima Luna (Barley Wine matured in Amarone barrels, with Marasca Morello cherries) and a part of young beer.

First brewed in 2009 and bottled in 2011.

@ Havregatan.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

@Nedre Mölla, flaska från Systembolaget. Arom: Väldigt speciell, lim, lite körsbär, i början touch åt rödvinshållet. Smak: Syrlig som bara den,(rödvins)vinäger, en viss fruktighet, touch av kanel. Nä den här var lite för extrem för mina smaklökar. I övrigt väldigt låg kolsyra och tråkig färg.

Bottle as shown thanks to Chris. Pours a cloudy clear brown with medium frothy white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is a strong oak, funk, cherry skin. Thin mouthfeel with nice tart cherry, strong oak tannin with nice sourness throughout. Very good.

Pours hazy reddish brown with pretty much non-existant head. Aroma of cherries, raspberries, redcurrant, very vinous, very pleasant! Taste is very tart sour, fruity, slight sweetness in the finish. Light, smooth body with flat carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ home, cuvée 2011. Pours dull and opaque red/light brown with no head whatsoever. Nose is warm and sweet with a fantastic blend of vinous cherries, oak, vinegar, raisins, earth. Vanilla, apple, lemon and caramel notes. Medium bodied with low soft carbonation. Taste has some caramel sweetness initially but quickly turns really sour. Sour cherries, smooth vinegar, red apples, vinous raisins, barnyard. Lots of oak and vanilla, and some lemon peel in the aftertaste. Finishes tart and sour with clean cherry notes coming back at intense levels. I had no expectations on this one, i’m overwhelmed.
