Blend of Krisopolis (a new beer, that will be available in the future, fermented in barrels for 2 years, then Morello cherries are added to it), with a part of Ultima Luna (Barley Wine matured in Amarone barrels, with Marasca Morello cherries) and a part of young beer.

First brewed in 2009 and bottled in 2011.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2014 Murky red colour body. Aroma like balsamic vinegar. No head. Really heavy sour salty taste. I must admit that the first time I tried this I really did not enjoy it. Second time was much more pleasant but still very sour.

Bottle from Bir&Fud Bottega, Roma. Murky reddish Brown beer with totally disappearing head. Red wine and cherry in truely sour aroma. Flavour is acidic and sour. Full bodied, well balanced.

Amber coloured beer with pretty much no head. Noses of apricots, white grapes and ripe apples. Soft and light slick in texture. Medium-full body with a light sweet and medium sour taste. Good balance with a short-medium finish. Definitely a digestif beer.

Grado: imperscrutabile. Gusto: incredibile.

330 ml bottle. 2010 vintage.
Pours a dark murky amber colour without a head. Aroma is very tart with dark cherries, wood and balsamic vinegar. Huge depth. Flavour ensues; dark cherries, pear, orange juice, more balsamic vinegar, sweet plums, rather strong earthiness and leather. Medium bodied, low carbonation and a dry but very juicy, tart, cherry finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Complexity at it’s best.

My first Sour Ale / Lambic style beer, probably the worst beer i ever drunk... Ruby red color without head, acetic and ester aroma and taste, oily body and nothing carbonation... Very sour after taste...

Poured a amber reddish color froth bottle bought at the Brass Tap, aromas of light fruit, oak, yeast and a touch of funk. Flavors are the same vinous wood, and some tart dark fruit, decent beer overall but not the best sour I’ve had.
