Blend of Krisopolis (a new beer, that will be available in the future, fermented in barrels for 2 years, then Morello cherries are added to it), with a part of Ultima Luna (Barley Wine matured in Amarone barrels, with Marasca Morello cherries) and a part of young beer.

First brewed in 2009 and bottled in 2011.

Murky, amber-pinky-brown color, tiny off-white head. Intensive sweet cherry, bretta, rose berry aroma. Medium-bodied, liquerish palate. Tart, cherries/Kirschberry in the flavor. Hints of cherry stones and wood. Lingering fruity tartness. Very fruity, balanced and drinkable wild beer. Deliciously fruity.

Draught at Lord Hobo, 3/19/15
A slightly hazy amber beer with some darker auburn tints to it and a small, off-white head that is poorly retained.
Vigorously acetic in the nose, with light alcohol heat notable on the end, as well. Fruity and playful, certainly, with cherries and plentiful caramel and raisin-like malt notes joining in the mix. Good leathery funk to it as well and overall appropriate for a sour red, though the aggressive acetic notes coupled with the strong caramel malt-like presence makes me nervous for the flavor.
An explosion of very sour vinegar notes, full of dry leather, wood and cherry skin is quickly combated by residual sugars lending a strong caramel/toffee flavor. Tart cherries and raisins enter the mix, throw some alcohol in there too and voila! you have quite a rollercoaster ride of a beer. Carbonation is low, but fairly engaging, while the sugars and slippery acetic notes give the beer a very soft texture. I like the core sourness here and you can taste the cherries, which I think are the best part, but the sweetness and monotonous acetic sourness bludgeon the palate until, taken with the 8% abv, it’s just way too much by the third or fourth sip.

Tap at Tallinn Craft Beer Weekend 2015. Dark chestnutty colour. Nose... fckn nice! Wood. Peanuts. Autumn fruits going off. Barnyard. Apple cider. Almonds. Tastes extremely sour but it’s nicely balanced by the fruity sweetness. Even though in the finish the extreme tartness is a bit over the top really. Body and carbonation medium. Can’t finish the 100 ml. Vinegar notes. Like chewing on vinegar-infused oak chips. With sour apples. A terribly enjoyable sipper... I love it, I hate it, I love it...

Tap @TCBW2015. Cloudy chestnut color. No head, some expected. Vinegar, sharp sourness, some fruits and red currant in aroma. Vinegar, sour as hell, soft caramel and some sweetness in taste. HP brown sauce in aftertaste. As not big sour fan this beer is madness to me.

Flaska från SB. Stor lakto/vinäger syrlighet. Kanske aningen mycket bärig vinäger som dock till viss del matchas av en laktosötma med lite vanilj. Moreller, fuktigt trä, lite söt tobak. Fina smaker men lite mycket vinäger.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av äppelvinäger, röda bär, främst körsbär, jord, trä, mjölkbakterier. Mycket syrlig, lagom sötma och lätt beska.
