Bottle from Whole Foods PM. Pours turbid deep brown with minimal head. Nose is intense tartness, vinous fruit, cherry, oak, heat. Tastes incredibly smooth, with big fruit, cherries, grapes, malt, lactic acid, wood, tannins. I even get some cinnamon/nutmeg in this. Smooth finish with evolving complexity as it warms.

Tasted during Nepenthia. Tap sample. Beautiful hazy sort of crimson / brick / red color. Minimal head. Bigger sour taste, kind of floral, a touch of cherry. Mild sour bite in the finish. Light slick texture. Very light carbonation. Medium-plus body. Bit too sour for me, but a nice one to sip on and try.

Massive sour aroma, woody and acidic. Over-the-top acidic palate. Quite acetic - it actually burns my pipes. Looked a nice red though. And the cherry aspects were very pleasant. I like sours, but this is too much of a good thing - it’s been pushed too far and has failed. I never want aceticity in a drink.

Woody, sweaty, sour aroma. Apricot, wood glue, sour taste. Ditto finish. No alcohol obvious. Aceticity lower than before, less harsh. Fresh and crisp.

330 ml bottle at Hasse, thanks Rolf! Cloudy reddish amber with no head. Aroma of vinegar, ripe fruit, apricot, strawberry and sweet malts. Taste is rich and creamy, apricots, vinegar, ripe fruits, dried apricot and some sweet fruity malts. Really nice!

Nose shows loads of funk, cherry, woody oak and rose notes.

Light brown/copper, little hazy, small off-white foam; funky, cherry, acidity, some woody notes; very high sourness (really, really sour), medium sweetness, lightly bitter; medium body, rather thin feel, crisp, average carbonation, very long and strong sour finish
Overall: very intense beer, very sour but in that exciting way

Aroma: Winey, sour, cherry stones, cherry juice, wood, vanilla. Taste: Strong sour, winey, cherrys, cherry stones, fruity, crisp. Long, strong sour and cherry finish. Impresive beer.

Tap (VI FDP). Barwa miedziano-czerwona, piana kremowa, slaba, nietrwala. Aromat intensywny, winny, owocowy z delikatna nuta wanilii. W smaku kwasne, takie mega sour. O ile w aromacie byla wanilia to w smaku aromatow beczkowych brak. Posmak mega kwaskowy. Piwo specyficzne, kwasne ale w sumie lekkie w odczuciu.

Smells..cherry, vinous, leather, oak & a little dank.
Tastes..light tart cherry beginning, through to a sour cherry vinegar, some oak .. Finishes puckery and dry.
