Blend of Krisopolis (a new beer, that will be available in the future, fermented in barrels for 2 years, then Morello cherries are added to it), with a part of Ultima Luna (Barley Wine matured in Amarone barrels, with Marasca Morello cherries) and a part of young beer.

First brewed in 2009 and bottled in 2011.

Hazy dull red appearance. Aroma and flavour are of sour red cherries. Too sour for me. Can feel the alcohol quite strongly too.

Bue en bouteille de 33cl. Année 2010. Superbe équilibre entre le côté sour et l'alcool. Nez acide et floral, palais avec une pointe de fruit rouge. Délicieux.

Sampled @ Borefts 2014 day 2. Opaque hazy reddish color, small off-white to beige head. Smell and taste sour fruits, sour to acidic. Pretty harsh imo. Not really my thing.

Tap @ BBF. Pours unclear brown with no head. Aroma is very tart with notes of funk, cherries, yogurt, lacto, balsamic and vinegar. Taste is tart with notes of yogurt, cherries, vinegar, balsamic, sour fruits in general, funk and with a burning end. A bit too much on the taste but overall a decent beer.

Wow, a real special beer. At first it might look like a fruit upped version of a red ale, with its bright appearance. But the nose suggests much more, with its red berry and raspberry aroma complemented by lots of aging and biscuit malt base. Gives a real vanilla richness to it. Wouldn’t have given it 8% abv too. A bit of an over the edge beer and undoubtedly too expensive when bought by the bottle, but it is a very interesting beer. (On tap at Borefts 2014)

Bottle (take away from the Drunken Duck); pours a reddish brown with almost no head; aroma is sour and wine like; taste is mostly sour with hints of sweetness with flavors of sour cherries, vanilla, and citrus; has a tart finish; very nice beer
