Blend of Krisopolis (a new beer, that will be available in the future, fermented in barrels for 2 years, then Morello cherries are added to it), with a part of Ultima Luna (Barley Wine matured in Amarone barrels, with Marasca Morello cherries) and a part of young beer.

First brewed in 2009 and bottled in 2011.

Bottle at ACBF. Slightly hazy amber beer, no real head. Vinegary orange wine nose. Very sour - vinegary. Turns a little sweeter later on with some orange. Vinegary acid finish. Alright but certainly could not drink much of it!

Bottle from Lortica, Bologna, bottle 6478, Cuvée 2010, 2 years old, batch 2010, bb 2050
Dark amber-red color, with sparse big bubbles. The aroma reveal cherries, some Bretts, light balsamic, very light acetone. It’s mostly uncarbonated; the mouthfeel is lean; some dryish malt flavor, with Bretts, and rather strong vinegary character; medium sourness, medium fruity touch, with grapes and some grapefruit bitterness; moderate bitterness overall, with cherry tannins in the end, and quite strong astringency.
An interesting one, with aging potential.

Bottle, 33cl, at Patricks. It’s an unclear, reddish brown beer with some beige bubbles on top. There’s lots of red berries on the nose, vinegar, some caramel, a spiced touch, some raspberry seeds and a vinous touch. It’s tart and medium bodied, with flavors of raspberries, vinegar, some generic berry flavour and a touch of caramel. Tart and berry-flavoured finish. A pleasant one, tart, quenching and tasteful. 121001

At ACBF 2011. Deep deep orange colour. Wow that is sour. Great funk on aroma. Lovely aroma but proper vinegar sour aggressiveness on the finish. Terrific. Some honeyed sweetness. But I like it.
