Bottle from Healthy Spirits. Pours cloudy copper with no head at all and a sour fruit aroma. There is a sweet fruity flavor with a vinous brandy finish.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Chipalsa (703) - Florida, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Bottle share from OmegaX
Appearance - Hazy (yeast) brown, bubbles
Aroma - Honey mustard, peanuts, musty water
Taste - Mustard, grain, flat, dry, vinous, faint hops
This beer had that musty scent and sour body that rivaled that of a long-cellard old ale. I absolutely loved it - though pretty much flat, the intense and sometimes delicate flavors were fun!
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 OmegaX (541) - Florida, USA - MAY 9, 2012
Strange brew. This one smelled like horseradish and brown mustard with some vinous, red fruit qualities, and caramel. Wait, what? Strange stuff. Taste is mainly coffee, some mustard again, wine qualities, butter, and ???. Hmmmm.... No carbonation at all, with a caramel colored body. One of the most unique brews I’ve ever had. I like the unique aromas and flavor from this brew but it is definitely something to savor.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 tcane7 (78) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 4, 2012
Draft at Alla Spina. Served in a small tulip glass. Poured a dark reddish brown. Very boozy aroma with raisin, oak, cherry. Thick and syrupy with tastes of oak, sweet dried cranberry, malt. Taste and smell is akin to a sherry.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Scopey (1659) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2012
Bottle, thanks to Reakt. It pours deep red, with a thin yellow-white head. The nose is vanilla, oak, sherry and toffee. The taste is brown sugar, oak, honey, tinned fruit, alcohol warmth, vanilla, fresh coconut and some cocoa, finishing sweet. Full body and low carbonation. Alcohol is pretty well hidden. Decent.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Leighton (4094) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2012
Bottle at The Kernel during Thomas’s Birthday Party, London. Pours lightly cloudy ruby with a fine, bubbly head. Sweet caramel and toffee aroma, some cherries and light wood. Very sweet flavor, more caramel, some bourbon, honey, wood, vanilla. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warm, sticky sweet finish, some caramel and vanilla, light wood, coconut, toffee, toast. Drinks well given the ABV. Very nice beer. Big.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 lithy (2995) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 18, 2012
This came across as a mess both visually and on the flavor profile, it was muddled, weak grape notes, some undistinguished malt body...
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 lachrymalisis (189) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 13, 2012
pours murky reddish-brown. loose frothy bubbles form and die rapidly. amazing aromas of wine-like apples covered in dark toffee, buttery oak, vanilla, slight mineral essence hiding underneath. taste is huge caramel-apple wine, musty oak and vanilla, almost saline-like mineral quality that recalls fluer de sel caramels. big and viscous mouthfeel, slightly dry on the finish, but overall one of the most interesting beer experiences I’ve ever had.

Dark, almost black. Has an off-white head, fully diminishing. Aroma is sweet, has notes of port-wine, faint smoke, vanilla, medicine. Flavor is heavy sweet, light acidic and finish light bitter. Syrupy texture and flat carbonation.
1.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Glouglouburp (4780) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 8, 2012
In short: An lifeless mixture of rotting dark grapes and tannins. Awful.
How: Cute fancy 330ml bottle. Consumed a little over 1 year after first rating of this beer (was it bottled more than once?).
The look: Cloudy dirty burgundy body topped by a few beige bubbles circling the glass
In long: Nose is raisins, toffee, sweet ripe dark grapes, wine barrels. From the nose it doesn’t seem like a train wreck at all. Taste is another story. This is bad, bad, bad, bad. Almost no carbonation, rotting dark grapes, sweet marmalade, booze, the cheapest young uber-fruity red-wine, some caramel, tannins. Gross, this is stuff is nasty, I drank just enough to get a rating out of it and poured most of the bottle down the drain. And to think I paid almost $15 for a 330ml of this atrocity, this is how stupid I am, and I blame my mother for not being more selective on whose sperm she let on board.
