TheBeerOrg (1563), Kentucky, USA Oct 24, 2009 Pours hazy golden with a mostly receding off-white head. Notes of ginger, chamomile, citrus, and flowery spice. Full bodied and smooth with lively carbonation. Very intense spiciness. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Sep 24, 2009 Draught @ Ølfestival Valby - CBF09, Copenhagen, Denmark. Light unclear medium yellow - orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, perfume, spicy, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090515] DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 22, 2009 Pours turbid dark straw with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is black peppery, hopcitrus, coriander, ginger, slight funky yeasty. Tastes spicy, with coriander, honey, malt, hopcitrus, peppery, and floral notes. Complex and enjoyable, this one was a nice surprise. Pipper (226), Ohio, USA Aug 21, 2009 Bottle into pint at Winking Lizard - STOP SERVING EVERYTHING IN PINTS!!! Cloudy orange pour with huge fluffy white head that diminished to about a 1/4 inch head. Some lace at the beginning but didn’t go to the bottom. Lots of sediment floating around in the body of the beer. Aroma was so faint it was negligible. Flavor: a little fruity, grassy and very slight ginger. Gave me Hawaiian Punch burps which was odd. Refreshing on a hot day but nowhere near worth $12.
