Picked this up a few weeks ago 50Cl split 2 ways in stemware, 3 finger creamy head cloudy hazy burnt orange w/ gold appearance. the head is extremely dense and the nose is loaded with pepper, bitter orange, herbal fruit salad. Taste like a salad, very herbal. a bit of green or black tea, tree bark, lemon zest and cloves with a peppery finish. interesting but wouldn’t buy again.

At Borefts 2014. Orange with a thick head. Fruity, spices, bitter but also sweet. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Coriander, fresh grass, spice, mild yeast aromas. Full body, dry finish. Flavor is well balanced and complex. Lots of coriander when it warms up, didn’t get any camomile though.

Pours a bit too foamy from the bottle. Foam subsides but not very fast. Aroma is strong citrus, grass and a hing of herbs or black pepper. Taste is very smooth light with banana and pineapple flavors. A very enjoyable light but complex saison.

Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, thick foamy white head. Aroma is fruity, spicy, yeasty, somewhat peppery and with a hint of ginger. Flavor is quite spicy, fruity and bitter with a hint of sweet. Great balance and very refreshing. Long lingering flavor. Nice brew.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2014 Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2014. THX everyone for sharing today’s beers. Clouded blond beer. Nose is fruity and somewhat sour. Taste is moderate with nice fruit balance. Though, the herb mix was not my ok for me

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2014. Thank you! Orange, creamy white head. S & T are muted because this way too cold. Hay, citrus, light hop, apples, barnyard,… Light. Good

33cl bottle pour@5e Mondial de la Bičre, Mulhouse - FR. Milky beige, true-to-style saison pour, decent big-poured soapy head. Heavily spiced aroma of condensed coriander seed, chamomile, flowers: tending more towards urinal cake than organic spring meadow, but still leaving room and air for doubt somewhere in between those perfumed pores. Fizzy; slightly fruit-sticky palate. Taste is wheat-driven, fruity and then entirely defined by the spicy components of the yeast and added ginger. Another manageable Italian creative overdrive saison, satiating the need it itself creates in one bottle.
