3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lightly floral and lemon, dusty nose, bit of pepper. Flavor has iron, dusty wheat, bit of earth, pepper comes through on the finish. Thin bubbly body, very dry, lightly bitter. Very balanced and refreshing, a bit too sharp for me but still very enjoyable.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. 11.7 oz. Pours a glimmering, slightly hazy bloody orange with a big, fluffy, light white head. Really pretty lacing, and lasting head. Aroma of initial sea water and salt air, following through on sweet muscat grapes, chamomile tea, fresh green peppers, and tones of great farmhouse funk. Medium bodied with a fresh, lively, slightly spicy, yet deliciously smooth palate. Finish is sweet and contains notes of the fresh peppers. Great saison.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
33 cl bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a thick, dense, pillowy white head. The aroma is complex and spicy. Yeasty upfront, with notes of coriander, soft herbal notes and honey. Softly sweet malt base- very light dough notes, followed by coriander. Then comes a swarm of complex spice layers. The mouthfeel is a bit watery.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a rather nice beer from Italy in somewhat the same style as a Belgian blond or wit, though perhaps more heavily spiced than I would think as traditional. The color is a very hazy orange--lots of particulates, try as I might not to pour them in--w/ a huge thick head of very fine bubbles. The nose is a nice, solid corriander citrus w/ a yeasty hint in the background that I sometimes associate w/ wild yeast or other stray microbial action but I can’t tell for sure. Flavor is this same, light bright citrus and mild spice, matched by a creamy palate and very lively carbonation. Some vanilla and banana fruity notes come out as the beer comes to room temperature. This really nice, light and rather complex and unique. This is a rather unique and spicy yet still balanced beer. I could see myself drinking a lot of this on a nice summer evening.
