3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden with a tall and lively, frothy off-white head. Fresh grapefruitish aroma. Medium body with a little yeast and a very fresh and citrusy hoppiness that also leaves a solid dose of bitterness.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. 11.7 oz. Pours a glimmering, slightly hazy bloody orange with a big, fluffy, light white head. Really pretty lacing, and lasting head. Aroma of initial sea water and salt air, following through on sweet muscat grapes, chamomile tea, fresh green peppers, and tones of great farmhouse funk. Medium bodied with a fresh, lively, slightly spicy, yet deliciously smooth palate. Finish is sweet and contains notes of the fresh peppers. Great saison.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
11.2oz bottle. Pours clear yellow amber, capped with a medium sized white head. Plenty of spice aroma with coriander, lemongrass, and pepper, backed up with wheat, grass, and yeast. Flavor begins with grass and wheat, with coriander, herbs, tea, and floral hops in the background. Spice plays more of a complimentary role in the flavor, whereas it dominated the aroma. Fairly long finish, with herbal and floral notes.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Little bottle, Lickbow, as if they know what a Saison is. Pours a hazy gold with a large, yellowish white head. Aroma is kind of sharp, very lemony, spicy, mild malty aspects and some other fruity esters. Interesting on the nose. Flavour is packed densely, mild honey sweetness upfront, immediately pummelled by the almost over-the-top cardamom and coriander aspects. Holy crap itís like Iím baking cookies or something. Cinnamon as well, which I like, but itís kind of way out of balance. Fruity esters fade into oblivion in the face of the kitchen-spice domination. Finishes dry and yeasty, with some ginger in their for sure. Iím actually sneezing as I write this.Carbonation is a bit excessive, even for something like a wild-ish ale. Over-all the effect is a little abrasive and unpleasant despite itís better qualities. A bit much for my tastes.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours light orange with light clouds. Big initial pillowy head that ends up with a lasting top froth. Not much lacing. Nose is cereal, grassy and some pepper. Initial mouth hit is cheerios, some lemon and a nice light peppery finish. Creamy in the mouth with medium carbonation. Really nice beer!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml bottle. A lightly hazy light amber beer with a medium sized, and lacing white head. The aroma is nice, malty with notes of oranges, light spices, and grassy hops. The flavour is very spicy, with many "piquant" hints and coriander. Strong hopping. Lightly unbalanced for the strong spiciness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium body, lively carbonation, dry and quite long finish with medium bitterness. Interesting, though not between my favourites among this style.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330mL bottle. Orange amber colour, big white head with large bubble. Unfiltered with lots of carbonation. Aroma is apricots and apple pie spices. Sweet taste with some cinnamon and allspice. A touch of earthy hops and dusty yeast in the back. Rather complex taste. Quite dry in the mouth. Overall, it kind of reminded me of a pumpkin ale if they didnít add the pumpkin.
