330ml brown bottle. Yellow in colour, hazy. Pillowy white head, nice foam. Aroma of sweet malt, spicy and peppery yeast notes, a bit floral. Firm maltiness, pilsner like grains, spicy, herbal. Bitter finish with yeast and herbal grassiness. Lengthy aftertaste of said hops and yeast, with spice. Medium bodied, nice texture, bit of an oily feel, moderate fine bubbled carbonation. Very nice saison.

Bottle, 0,33 cl.
Hazy peach color, rocky head. Very Beligan aroma.
An exlposion of flavour from the first sip. Full malt, sweet and sour, stable and barnyard, Summer flowers, pepper, spearmint, some ashes. Bittersweet finish with some peppery and warming ginger. Wow.

Bottle: Pours a hazy golden with a thick, dense, pillowy white head. The aroma is complex and spicy. Yeasty upfront, with notes of coriander, soft herbal notes, honey and very light bubblegum in the back. The mouthfeel is fluffy and creamy. Softly sweet malt base- very light dough notes, followed by evident coriander. Then comes a swarm of complex spice layers. I definitely pickup on a distinct and unique bell pepper (peppercorn) notes. There’s also some spicy herbs, a nice ginger bite, however, subtle, and just a smooth peppery bitterness left on the palate. The early malt characteristics in the fore is perfectly balanced by the layers of complex and unique spiciness. Complex and dry throughout. A great Saison!

Bottle@Enoteca Decanter, Milan. Hazy orangey gold pour with a pillowy white head. Aroma was fragrant and most pleasant, and had notes of grassy hop, ginger and yeast. Flavour was fresh, bright, vibrant and clean, with once again, a definite floral quality to it. A hint of spice mingled seamlessly with some zesty citrus, with some gentle bitterness easing in to the picture towards the finish. A sparklingly good beer that I would happily toast the rising sun with on any day.

Bottle. 11.7 oz. Pours a glimmering, slightly hazy bloody orange with a big, fluffy, light white head. Really pretty lacing, and lasting head. Aroma of initial sea water and salt air, following through on sweet muscat grapes, chamomile tea, fresh green peppers, and tones of great farmhouse funk. Medium bodied with a fresh, lively, slightly spicy, yet deliciously smooth palate. Finish is sweet and contains notes of the fresh peppers. Great saison.

Ottima saison, al naso inizialmente non eccelso, ma bevendola è prevalso il palato e il retrogusto, davvero speziati e dissetanti. Schiuma molto grossa, che è durata poco, ma il corpo della birra è il suo punto forte

Draught at Bi-Du Beer Fest 2007 Cloudy orange color; creamy head leaving a nice lace. It has a nice aroma of Goldings or other British hops, and cereals. Good mouthfeel, soft, with some malt flavor; it shows also a powerful and quite aromatic hopping; the spices can’t be detected (which is good for me). A very good English Golden Ale.

UPDATED: JUN 12, 2008 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Hazy orange colour, massive creamy head. Lovery aroma of orange, coriander and cinnamon. Fairly dry, juic and fruity. Light and fresh with rounded spritzy mouthfeel. Lovely complex flavour with everything from dough to orange jam and bitter herbs. Long herbal bitterness. Perhaps the juicy flavour dies a bit early, but it has remarkable qualities!
