Bottle. Pours a bright orange with a thick dense egg beige head and some spotty lacing. Aroma is orange zest, spicy coriander is moderate, phenolic flowery peppery spicy saison yeast- light doughy but pretty typical nice saison. Flavor gets grainy - sandy gritty on the palate with crackery malts, old doughy malts, slight stale ox, flat orange peel flavor, pizza dough, light orange zest, grassy phenolic, yeast, dull triscuit cracker, light tic tac mintiness, very dry but almost a bit harsh as it dries like sandpaper- tacky and gritty- with more herbs and spice. Starts off nice but finishes a bit weak and off. Ok, but not great- especially for the money- $7.75 for a small bottle.

330ml bottle from the LCBO. hazy blonde, big lasting white head. nice floral rustic nose. flavour is lightly fruity, dry, peppery, long finish complex. the spiciness comes of as a bit to forced and this reduces the drinkability. lovely summer saison.

24/05/2012 Bir&Fud (tap). Ambrata, riflessi miele e arancia, bellissima, schiuma bianca fine, abbondante e persistente. Aroma delicato, lieviti, luppolo, splendide note floreali. In bocca è ugualmente delicata, lieviti, malto, lieve tocco luppolato, si lascia bere in maniera fantastica. Corpo medio, grande bevibilità, carbonazione corretta, forse un filino eccessiva. Una delle migliori saison mai assaggiate.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aromas of light malts, wheat, spices and light citrus. Spice flavor (cinnamon, ginger, coriander) with notes of wheat/grass and light citrus. Spicy and slight bitter citrus finish. A little too much spice for me but pretty tasty.

Saison fresca, beverina, con sentori primaverili. è percepibile la camomilla tra i fiori di campo.Nel complesso è una birra rinfrescante che effettivamente berla in una bella giornata primaverile rende di più ;)

A gift from SJ. A thin beer with some notes of pepper, floral hop, spice and coriander. It was an ok spring beer.

Bottle. Pours a thick cheddar orange with a friggin’ huge white head. Flavor is floral, aspartame, tea, and light melon. Flavor is floral lemon melon tea. Average mouthfeel. Not bad, but one is enough.

Buona saison ma ci sono alcune cose che non ho apprezzato, troppa schiuma, poco persistente il finale e troppo troppo frizzante! Il sapore floreale e leggermente fruttato invece, non sono affatto male!

Bottle. Interesting to read impressions on this excellent beer. Many different opinions on the fruit character. It is certainly wonderfully aromatic, and I was impressed with a distinct fresh pineapple quality, light citrus and zesty spice. Low bitterness, but finishes dry. A surprisingly characteful beer, delicious!

Draught at Open Baladin, Rome Sightly hazygolden with a large, rocky, white head. Yeasty and citric aroma. Peppery, yeasty and sourish flavour; marzipan and grapefruit.
