Bottle: Medium fluffy bit airy more creamier and a bit darker head than the normal Sally Brown beer. With a murky dark ruby shine. More ruby and clearer (still murky) than the regular Sally Brown. A strange dark brown blackish murky beer is tob e found under the pretty quick changing head into a lacing. You smell that this one has coffee added, which the normal Sally Brown doesn’t have this dominating in the aroma. You smell the difference. There’s also some aroma’s of spices, burned wood, pure coffee and something light light sweet ish. Taste is still a bit watery but does have a slightly more spicier and coffee taste which makes it a a bit more bodied in taste than the regular one. I do taste coffee, roasted coffee, hint of burned wood, some light spices and a hint of roasted malts. Not unbalanced but a bit weak. The traces of the light light sourness in the regular version is not really traceable in this one. Coffee ish burned wood and light to medium bitter aftertaste. Also a slight hint of herbs in the aftertaste. Low to medium carbo, softer mouthfeel than the normal Sally Brown, Medium to a bit fuller body and a bit more creamier in texture than the regular Sally brown.

Aroma is coffee only. Faint otherwise. Dark black color. Small head. Lacing. More coffee in the taste. Some roasted barley taste.....really just a good stout. Impressed.

Not very intense. Bottle at Slow Beer. Aromas of nuts, caramel and coffee. Taste is sweet with light bitterness, and average length. Palate is oily, with a thin to medium body. Dark brown with a frothy head.

Pours black with a large lasting head. Nose shows complex heavy roast and roasted coffee. Quite enticing. Very similar flavours. Quite roasty but with little roasty biterness. Some sweet malt and a fair whack of coffee. A bit too much carbonation. Gets a bit too sweet later.

Opaque black beer, good tan head. Minerally coffee nose. Semi dry palate with mild carbonation. Minerally coffee, pretty strong black coffee style. Not bitter though. Fresh minerally finish and a mild coffee aftertaste. All right.
