Black color; creamy head. The aroma of coffee is at the same time evident and delicate, leaning on the creamy and dusty side; but also some cheese. Lean body, dry coffee flavor, a bit dusty; correct bitterness. For a coffee and Stout lover (not me), very good.

2010-06-05, RBESG 2010, draught at Brasserie 4:20, Rome, 6-4-6-3-12=31
Black color; creamy head. Aroma of boiled (saucepan-brewed) coffee. Dry mouthfeel, slim body, roasted malt and coffee flavor; the final is quite dry, with roasted malts. This is simply not my kind of beer; still, it’s a correct brew.

harrisoni (10911) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2011
Bottle from GBBF drunk at home on a day of coffee stouts. Black beer with thin lasting tan head. Clear coffee aroma. Quite full in the mouth. Solid coffee flavour throughout that is balanced. Not too powdery or dry. But full enough not to make it too watery. Coffee is like a coffee liquer, coffee flaoured dark choc truffle. Touch of tingle on the tongue on the finish. Very drinkable and good balance like I said.

Dark ruby color, big cloudy beige head, lace. Nice aroma of coffee, coffee beans. Light to medium bodied. Cold coffee, coffee beans, dark chocolate in the flavour. Dryish. Real breakfast brew. Good light stout.

Bottle. [thanks Feldthaus]
Bought @ LIVA, Kolding.
Pours completely black with a nice, small, staying, beige-brown head. Aroma has lots of coffee, light roasted malts. Dry and fairly light palate, prickly carbonation and some creaminess. Flavour has lots of coffee, dryness, chocolate, mild roasted, nuts. But mostly elegant coffee. Top balance.

Opaque black beer, good tan head. Minerally coffee nose. Semi dry palate with mild carbonation. Minerally coffee, pretty strong black coffee style. Not bitter though. Fresh minerally finish and a mild coffee aftertaste. All right.

Maria (9569) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 6, 2011
It’s black with a red hue and a small, rapidly vanishing head. The aroma has strong notes of coffee and coffee grinds. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of slightly bitter coffee and roasted malt. The flavour is very pure coffee, and the oats are very distinct.

A deep dark stout with a thin light brown head. In aroma, a yummy aroma of nutella, coffee, milk chocolate, earthy yet sweet. In mouth, an easy drinking pleasant stout with coffee grinds, nutty chocolate, grainy, very nice and smooth. Bieropholie import.

from Mondial de la Bière, Strasbourg - very dark brown almost black coloured with a little dark beige colour; nice lace; roasted aroma of mocha, vanilla and walnut, yeasty; medium-bodied, low carbonation and fairly bitter; very dry, long coffeish aftertaste, bitter and nutty - subtle
