3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Intenso e interessante finale piccante.

Pitch black body with a brown head. Very nice roasted malty aroma with coffee, spices, licorice. Medium, decently carbonated palate. Spicy malty flavour with coffee, almonds, licorice, an interesting burning finish. Very nice.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Found this to be a suprisingly good beer, nice and full.
Aroma: Typical stout, coffee, chocolate
Apearance: Pitch black, especially when the foamen head dissapeared it started to look like a coke. (Which is no problem, hiding that you’re drinking beer! :P)
Palate: Great, fuzzy but not too much, nice head
Overall: Really enjoyed this one.

Bottle, @beer house club, corso Tintori 34, Florence.
Fantastic imperial stout with hot peppers, the aroma is malt, roast, coffee, cocoa, a hint of chili pepper, and some liquorice.Flavor is the same but with more chocolate, and the chili pepper comes out at the end, with a long and persistent aftertast. ALso the colour is very nice, with a creamy foam that reminds the cappuccino. One of the best stouts I ever had in my life

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a black opaque beer with a thick, beige head on top. Aroma is full of chocolate and malts. Peppers are not detected at all. Aroma could be more complex, but it smells good. Flavor is medium sweet with touches of coffee and chocolate. Thin, oily mouthfeel and medium carbo. Average imperial stout..

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Black as black can be with a creamy, lasting, lacy, thick brown head. Smells of deep chocolate that dominates with a roast, malt base and caramel. Full creamy oily velvet soft body with soft carbonation. Tastes of dark chocolate, roast, ash and barley with a finish that is dry and a pronounced chilli finish that lingers for a while. The spiciness brings you back to quench your thirst. A nice smokey character full of malt flavour. Sweet with a salty roast hot finish. Delicious, well balanced and good moreishness.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a 330ml bottle on 1/9/2013. Pours jet black with a smallish tan head. The aroma is pleasant, featuring lots of chocolate and some caramel malt. The falvour features lots of dark chocolate with some nutty and roasty malt at the back. The hot pepper is really pronounced, hitting you immediately and lingering long after the swallow. Has a fullish body and perhaps a little more carbonation that a typical impy. This is nicely put together and the pepper angle makes it unusual, but the pepper is just a little too much for me, as it made me feel like having a glass of water afterwards. That said, I can see why others would rate this quite highly.
