UPDATED: JUN 12, 2008 Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Opaque black with coarse beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate. Very soft and verlvetty. Like whipped cream with tar pastiles and chocolate. Laid back, yet mouthfilling. Aniseed and a very slight warming tingle from the chili comes through in the salty finish. A wonderful, well balanced beer that exceeds my expectations.

The flavor is very good, with dark chocolate and some roasted malt, not too ashy as other black beers, and not thick at all; good bitterness level. Good chocolatey Foreign Stout.
