COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

I created this beer to celebrate my wedding and my bride who has always loved Rauch beers. The city of Bamberg is particularly dear to us. We ventured through its streets, indulged in its well known smoked beers and stood together contemplating the water ripples of the river Regnitz.
Being in Tettnang 2 days before the wedding to select the newly harvested hops, I brought back 10 freshly uprooted hop plants to decorate the wedding reception. Instead of the traditional rice tossing, the guests showered us with hop flowers. My weeding suit was garmented by a small hop blossom as well. With more than 200 guests and 450 liters of beer, many remember our celebration as one of the most memorable gatherings they have ever attended.
Selling the leftover beer to some clients was such a success that we decided to keep brewing it. It is now part of our beer family!

Keg at Bishops Arms Gamla Stan, Stockholm. Almost clear copper colour, small head. Mild aroma of smoked meat. Mid dry with medium body and clrsn, rounded mouthfeel. Fairly mild beechwood smoke, slight notes of grassy hops. Low bitterness. Nice smoke flavours, but lacking malt depth when comparing it to its Franconian ancestors.

Strong aroma of Bamberg smoke malt, but the taste has an extra smoothness to add, which gently balances the smoke. Very good.

On tap at Beer Temple. Clear amber-brown colour, light-beige head. Aroma of Bamberg smoke, beechwood, sweet malts, caramel, nuts. Flavour is smoke, but not as much as in the aroma, quite sweet and malty, floral, nutty, caramel, light fruity, soft bitter finish with some smoke. Light to medium-bodied. Easy beer.

Tap at the Beer Temple, Poured a cloudy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is big smoke bacon yeast. The flavour is medium bitter with a watery light bitter veggie palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Really liked this. Super drinkable and very refreshing.
