3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Orange hazy, creamy beige head. Smells of grassy hops, belgian yeast and malts. Medium sweet, very fruity, some banana and alot of spice and caramel. Medium to heavy bitter, quite grassy and spicy. Quite pleasant tripel, very drinkable, maybe not the baldest one, but absolutely one i can have again. Cheers

Flaske 0,33l - gave fra Rune.Styrken oppgitt til 8,8%. Drukket i heimen 2 Okt 12. Lys appelsinfarget. Uklar. Veldig høyt skum som daler sakte og etterlater filigranser. God, litt krydret aroma med antydning til frukt og bær. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er litt på den søte siden. Fersken. Druer. Blir syrlig bitter etter hvert. Avslutter tørt.

Bottle. Cloudy golden with a rich white head. Complex yeasty, bready and fruity aroma. Interestingly yeasty and fruity, even spicy flavours. One of the more interesting tripels out there?

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma of candysugar and hay. Taste reveals hints of alcohol and belgian yeast. Smooth mouthfeel. Very good beer, but the alcogol could have been hidden a bit better to get the highest scores.

pours golden yellow-orange with a nice frothy head, lots of active CO2 streams. Medium malts on the nose. A super creamy mouthfeel upfront, transitions into flavours of malt, orange, bread, wheat, light hops, light yeast, finishes lightly tingly, sweet (6/10), and a mild bitter finish with a crisp bite. Medium complexity, medium depth, great transitions, good carry, excellent drinkability.

For some reason the name "Winterlude" seems prototypically Canadian to me... damn those Zip Zap Zoup books. Smells of alcohol, molasses, and... nothing else. Tastes of molasses, pine, and malt. But in a good way... but not that much. Still cloying. Many of my friends hate IPAs but I love them. Many people love tripels but I don’t care for them. IPAs are way to bitter for some, tripels are way to sweet for me. Different strokes.
