Pours a hazy golden color. Slightly sour nose with hints of a funky earthy aroma. The flavor is slightly off and gives a biscuity meets funky earthy flavor, with a hint of malty sweetness. An ok beer, but I wouldn;t buy it.

Really gorgeous light peachy-gold color with a whisper of pink and a huge, loose pouffy white head. Bright, slightly tart aroma with alluring faint suggestion of roses and red fruits over a soft bit of spice. The aroma is nice, but you really have to go after it. It would easily be overlooked if this beer-for-quaffing was merely quaffed. The flavor suggests elderberries in the background of a nearly zero malt profile and not alcohol characteristics which leaves you wanting more from the thin, light, watery, body. Something to enhance or magnify the unique qualities of this beer would be nice. In short, this is a cool beer that would be perfect in a Spring garden party, but not necessarily in a pub somewhere. Fun to try.

Sampled at the Carolina Crew tasting last month. Light yellow pour. Lightly sour and tart aroma. Tart and floral taste. Lots of flavor for such a low ABV.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2009 Hazy orange head with Tartness, a lot of carbonated spice. Dry, watery finish with a healthy amount of funk on the caboose . Sleepy brought this back from Birrificio in Italy.

Pinky-apricot appearance with thick lacing white head. What if not flowery, bit spicy and sweetie, with a slight acidic refreshing note. Not much to mention for what concern flavours: peppery, fruity and obv flowery. Rather simple but really clean and enjoyable in mouth. Quite hard to brew, i suppose. Definitely the beer your wife sip while youíre trying to empty the umpteenth glass of Tipopils.

Bottle from Belmont station. Hazy gold with some pink, sort of looks like it turns into a big gooseberry in the middle, if that makes any sense. Some apricot in the nose, bay laurel, leather? heather?? grape?? Drying acidity with great subtle complexities, floral, but not sickly, definitely some rye in the flavor, light yet still satisfying. Iím somewhat dazzled!

Dark orange colour, quite cloudy, few, but creamy and persistent had. Wonderful aroma, with the scent of many flowers. Very light flavour, dominated by the orange peels taste. It seems like a light and not so complex version of Orval.

Draught @Un Mare di Birra. Iíve never tasted it before and I think itís a very pleasant summery beer. Very easy to drink. Flat white head, dark colour with floral and citrus aroma. Good.
