Small white head, decent lace. Clear gold color. Spicey nose, faint citrus, light floral notes as well as a dill pickley aroma. Strange. Body is light with an aggressive carbonation, with a neat tartness that grows as you consume this 1 litre bottle by yerself (thanks Brian!) in one sitting. Light spice flavors, peppery, ginger, flowery, perfumey, yeasty and citrusy. What a conglomeration of flavors! Finish is dry, tart. An easy drinkin little brew. Kinda grows on ya after awhile, by yourself, alone, with a 1 litre bottle. Thanks goodness for the low ABV.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted sometime in mid-2011 from an odd-looking bottle at Lush West Town. Pours hazy orange with a thick white head that leaves an even layer of lace after a quick recession. The nose is tart green grapes, a bit of earth, red fruit, and a nice dose of bread malt. The flavor is tart and sour green grapes with a hint of red fruits, bread malt, and the same earthy not that I detected on the nose. The body is medium with lively, mouth-filling carbonation, and a medium tart and tannic finish.

Bottle at Carolina Crew tasting. Saw this on sale at Sam’s and was put off by all the spices. Overall, though, this was a very solid beer. Cloudy bright orange pour with white head. Tart aroma. Citrus, rosehips, vegetable notes. Some bread. Solid, and a nice low-alcohol beer. Great way to start off the night.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a three-finger smooth off-white head that barely fades leaving a good lace. Cloudy amber color, ton of yeast settles to bottom. Yeasty/citrusy nose. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Starts tart maybe an apple flavor, hard to pin down, finish is sour. Good bottle to split with your beer partner. Pricey - $16.99 for a 1L bottle from Tullyís Beer & Wine Wells, Me.

ah, i know iíve had this before but i guess didnít rate it the 1st time, this bottle comes from thecheeseman! thanks! Very floral aroma, perfumey, with some spice in the nose too. Pours a golden amber, now iím down to the end of the 1L bottle and its extremely chunky! Funky spice as soon as it hits your mouth, some green olive, pepper, some funky tartness, with all the different flavors going on you can definitely taste the kent goldings, very interesting flavor! So good and easy to drink with the 3.8% abv. Great beer.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a dark, hazy golden orange color thatís almost brown with a two finger frothy off-white head that slowly fades into a lasting ring. Spotty lacing left behind.
Slightly earthy aroma with boozy sweetness and light fruit notes. Slightly floral with hints of apple, pear and citrus peel.
Light bodied with heavy carbonation up front and a heavy spice profile. Slightly watered down with zesty pepper, citrus and light fruit notes. Hints of apple, pear, grape and other berries along with some lemon peel and honey. Thereís an odd metallic flavor toward the finish that hurts the drinkability and overall flavor.

***review from Jan 18, 2009***
Found at Khoryís in southish Henderson, NV.... Iím looking at the bill and the grand total was 201.16$...
Poured out a thin super bubbly white cap that lives on the rim with almost no lacing. The beer was a medium amber colour that was not quite clear. I say was because I dumped all the sludge in and now its kind of a reddish tinged apricot nectar looking thingy. The aroma is quite nice and fresh with sweet flowers, apricot, honey, light bread, light sour berry, weak spices. The taste is very very light and quite tangy with flowers, weak bitterness, light bready malts, pepper, a bit water and I find it gassy. Sounds like a pretty plain description but this does taste quite different and it is very yummy. Soft and fluffy to the mouth..wow, just got a mouth full of flowers. Finished tannic, flowery. Highly over priced but it sounded quite rare and the ingredient list definetly made it a must buy.

1L bottle @ Kenís Walloping Wednesday - Softly hazed gold, creamy off white head. Nose held funked floral and sour lemon-like tones. Hints of yeasty black pepper emerge on further warming. Flavor was very nice with a well balanced mix of bretty funk and peppery lemon florals. Nicely complex for the light ABV. Light bodied, medium carbonation, peppery, sour fruity finish. Unique and tasty for sure. Thanks argo0.

From a pricy big bottle purchase at Belmont Station--Poured a medium copper amber body with a mild white head that dissipated but left da ecent to low head. Honey nose with fruity watery mild complex lovin texture. I drank a few glasses and loved it! Go for it if you can afford it.
