Dusty yellow-orange. Minty and spicy, herbal . . . barnyard? It’s a mix of a variety of things, but not much flavor comes with it.

Hazy pink grapefruit color with saliva like bubbles spreading around the wrung. The aroma is an f’in garden party. Juniper, boysenberry, rose hips, lemon grass and mint tea leaves. Pepper cleaves and kernels round it out with a spicy flair. Pepper comes out more in the flavor along with a souring grapefruit squeeze into an iced rose hip flavored tea. Effervescence mires activity while the tea leaves and lavender breezes interject more earthly traits. Glimpses of limeade are confounded with mixed, tart, tropical squeezes. Ruby red grapefruit taints rise with quips of lavender petals submerged under the surface. Strange stuff, with a peppery turn at the end, but a damn fun beer to try, all thanks to JPDIPSO.

I liked this one at Jimacks. Very different. Nose is very floral with some sour berries. Taste is very complex and screams food. Must have been brewed with the kitchen sink, a little bit of this and that. Not luck on the brewers part, I believe they aimed and hit the target. Bottle says violets, roses, and elderberries. Now I don’t get roses or violets specificly but some flowers for sure. Thanks beastie.

Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Cloudy light straw color with a broken head. Odd vinegary/brine aroma, light spicy, a hint of funk. Lightly briny taste, some citrus, grain. As with the Te, the brine character really is too much for me. I don’t know what makes this happen, but I’m finding I don’t like it so much.

Bottle courtesy of argo0. Cloudy, somewhat dull orange with an off-white/grayish head. Interesting nose of roses and grandma’s perfume. Tart fruitiness, medium sourness/funk along with notes of roses (and other flowers I can’t quite identify), light cherry and some wood character. Pretty dry. Medium to lighter bodied with moderate carbonation. An adventurous and fun brew, even though I didn’t quite love it - definitely worth a try.

Courtesy boboski. Orange/amber with a thin layer of ice grayish carbonation. Grainy, musty, earthy, peppery, lightly bitter, floral, lightly sweet. Very interesting brew. Unique. Medium body, balanced. Very nice.

Murkey pinkish orange, lasting fizzy off-white head. Sour orange aroma. Plant/leaf/orange watery taste. Meh. Done. Post-rating note to self: what did I miss? Rerate?

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2007 Yellow body with white head. Nose had trace floral, spice and sweet. Taste was spices, complex and hard for me to nail down. Tasted like flowers? Weird, in a good way.

Looks like orange pop with hints of brown a small sparkly cap floats on top reducing to only a meager skiff in a matter of a few short moments. Aroma is mild and cool (cool as in the way the air smells on a cold winters day) berries, floral aromas and the unmistakable smell of chewy candy all round out this aroma. Plop, plop is the sound of Gully refilling my glass as muddy sediment now clouds the beer. Taste is crisp and sharp with a mild sourness. Tangerine, honey, mild bready malts, some pepper, and a flower shop, this a strange combo that makes the flavour very refreshing. It has a watered down taste like juice made from concentrate that had too much water added to it. this would be a great beer in the heat of summer and not the dead of winter in beercronics basement. Thanks Gully
