2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle 75 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Cloudy and opaque reddish golden with a rough off-white head. Spicy, flowery nose. Light body, dry fruit accents and notes of elderflower. Dry and lightly astringent spicy finish - although I certainly didn’t pick up all the stuff added. 070610

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a dark, hazy golden orange color that’s almost brown with a two finger frothy off-white head that slowly fades into a lasting ring. Spotty lacing left behind.
Slightly earthy aroma with boozy sweetness and light fruit notes. Slightly floral with hints of apple, pear and citrus peel.
Light bodied with heavy carbonation up front and a heavy spice profile. Slightly watered down with zesty pepper, citrus and light fruit notes. Hints of apple, pear, grape and other berries along with some lemon peel and honey. There’s an odd metallic flavor toward the finish that hurts the drinkability and overall flavor.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dusty yellow-orange. Minty and spicy, herbal . . . barnyard? It’s a mix of a variety of things, but not much flavor comes with it.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
In short: A perfumy rose-water based beer. Girly and sickeningly aromatic
How: Bottle 750ml. Consumed some 6 months after the beer release. Sample at Cathschlag birthday party tasting
The look: Cloudy blonde body with big ugly chunks of yeast topped by a short-lived white head
In long: The floral aspect of this one goes has flower petals and the likes but goes way beyond that, this is downright rose water, perfume and other romantic girly aromatic notes. Some fruity notes (mainly grapefruits) feel like and added flavour to a rose water drink rather than the other way around. Body is watery. Light sensation of cleaning product. Not even refreshing, just annoying. What the fuck were my drinking partners drinking giving positive review to that gross girly perfumy beer, I haven’t anything so gay since Dancing With The Stars: Special Hairdressers.
