3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Small white head, decent lace. Clear gold color. Spicey nose, faint citrus, light floral notes as well as a dill pickley aroma. Strange. Body is light with an aggressive carbonation, with a neat tartness that grows as you consume this 1 litre bottle by yerself (thanks Brian!) in one sitting. Light spice flavors, peppery, ginger, flowery, perfumey, yeasty and citrusy. What a conglomeration of flavors! Finish is dry, tart. An easy drinkin little brew. Kinda grows on ya after awhile, by yourself, alone, with a 1 litre bottle. Thanks goodness for the low ABV.

Thanks to JK for bringing this unique brew. Very light refreshing saison style beer. Sour and some barnyard aromas. I believe this is more of an acquired taste, but I thought this was a decent effort. Some olive in the flavor, meat, cheese, yeast, very interesting and unique.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled on 2/3/07, thanks to boboski: Pours a transparent dark golden bronze with a fizzy, white, wispy-lacing head. Has a dry, earthy, bright floral aroma with a hint of sweetness and tartness. Body starts with an airy palate with some mild sweet and sour flavors with a touch of black pepper toward a thinner, drier floral finish. An interesting brew.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pinky-apricot appearance with thick lacing white head. What if not flowery, bit spicy and sweetie, with a slight acidic refreshing note. Not much to mention for what concern flavours: peppery, fruity and obv flowery. Rather simple but really clean and enjoyable in mouth. Quite hard to brew, i suppose. Definitely the beer your wife sip while youíre trying to empty the umpteenth glass of Tipopils.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is the weirdest looking 750ml bottle I have ever seen; squat and almost like the new Sierra Nevada 24oz bombers, but thicker & different. The beer pours with a frothy, initially three-finger thick, light tan colored head. The beer is a hazy, honey amber color, but shows a lightly reddish tinged, fully hazy, orange-gold color when held up to the light. The aroma is light and spicy with aromas of lemon zest, orange blossoms, light honeysuckle, a touch of lavender and even some light ginger and pepper towards the end. This has a very floral aroma and it is quite inviting. A little bit of digging around reveals some malt influenced aromas of honey-malt, crushed saltine crackers.
Very dry, in fact one of the most dry tasting beers I have ever had. It is so dry that it tastes lightly tart and has a pepper-like flavor from a zippy carbonation. It is actually a bit fizzy, but it is so light that it does not feel gassy. The floral notes really come through as a nasal influence during each sip. Cracker & bread like malt mixes with touches of ginger some sourness (perhaps from the elderberries as this is more than just a typical yeast influence), and a light pepper hit in the long finish. Flavors of rose hip tea mix in with the general floral notes to provide a bit of herbal character that mimics the function of hops. Despite being so light, the malt character really does come through quite well here, especially as it warms.
I like that this is very easy drinking, it also has an interesting blend of flavors and aromatic notes (the nose more than the flavor though), but for some reason it is not nearly what I hoped it would be.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Looks like orange pop with hints of brown a small sparkly cap floats on top reducing to only a meager skiff in a matter of a few short moments. Aroma is mild and cool (cool as in the way the air smells on a cold winters day) berries, floral aromas and the unmistakable smell of chewy candy all round out this aroma. Plop, plop is the sound of Gully refilling my glass as muddy sediment now clouds the beer. Taste is crisp and sharp with a mild sourness. Tangerine, honey, mild bready malts, some pepper, and a flower shop, this a strange combo that makes the flavour very refreshing. It has a watered down taste like juice made from concentrate that had too much water added to it. this would be a great beer in the heat of summer and not the dead of winter in beercronics basement. Thanks Gully

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a three-finger smooth off-white head that barely fades leaving a good lace. Cloudy amber color, ton of yeast settles to bottom. Yeasty/citrusy nose. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Starts tart maybe an apple flavor, hard to pin down, finish is sour. Good bottle to split with your beer partner. Pricey - $16.99 for a 1L bottle from Tullyís Beer & Wine Wells, Me.
