Tap at Ma Che, Trastevere Roma - 03/10/12. Slightly hazy blonde with a thick bubbly white head that soon thins but retains well overall. Noble hops on the nose, a little citrus and honey, some mineral notes and a touch of spice. Taste follows nose with light caramel tones and lemon zest. Medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation lending to a dry finish. Refreshing pils.

33 cl. tap. (Tamburin, Bologna). Hazy golden yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma is fresh grains with grassy hops and hints of citrus. Crispy! Balanced pleasant savory taste with light to medium sweetness and mild bitterness. Light-bodied with thin texture. Average carbonation and very pleasant finish (although not long-lasting). The best Pilsener (and possibly the best Lager) I’ve ever tried. Kudos!

Bottle, outside on a sunny Sunday evening. Go me! Pours hazy golden with a white frothy head. Malty pilsner aroma with very pleasant light citrus fruity notes. Also pine nuts. Feels quite thin, but not watery. Quite lively. Abrupt. Quite bland, some bitterness, very balanced. I don’t quite get the fuzz, I’ve had more interesting pilsners.

0.33 bottle.
A delicately hazy, pale yellow color with a large, white head of good retention. Aroma of pale malts, citruses, honey, and flowers; hay and grass are quite noticeable too. Taste is delicately sweet: malts, grass, dough, hay, a tad of citrus. A medium body, a slightly creamy texture, and an average carbonation. Finish is medium long and also relatively sweet, it is partially differentiated from the rest by more buttery flavors. Overall the beer is great, one of the few examples showing that pilsners can be quite enjoyable despite their usual simplicity.

Solid pilsner, a backbone of earthy hoppyness, more demanding than most pilsners.

Keg at the brewery restaurant. A clear bright golden coloured pour with a lasting light white froth. Aroma is fresh grains, grassy spicy hop with a little citrus. Flavour is composed of pale grains, bread, delicate hop, hints of grass and straw. Very well balanced and sessionable. Palate is light and refreshing, with soft moderate carbonation. Very nice.

330ml bottle from Boxbeers. Bottled 30.06.16. Pours golden orange with a small head. Aroma of sweetish floral notes, grass, hay, grainy malts and butter. Taste is crisp, grainy and floral with some grass, hay and citrus. Finish is crisp and earthy with some floral and grassy notes. Okay pils with an interesting hop profile.
